I have seldom experienced such a rude reception service as in Sokos Wiklund. The conversation was short: "name" was the only word said by the worker. Dusty windows, mirror, ceiling in the room. No cleaning during two days stay. Reception area is on the middle of bar area, and you must wall from the car park through department store. Very unconvenient. Breakfast was good. Location excellent.

The room was average in size and comfort, though it showed some signs of wear and tear. Unfortunately, the room was located directly below a rooftop bar, and the noise made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. On the plus side, the hotel’s central location was convenient for exploring the city. Breakfast was decent, with a good selection of options, though nothing exceptional. Service was ok. Overall, the noise issue impacted my stay.

Customer service gets a special mention, it’s on a second level. Clean, comfy, great location with reasonable price. Special request was noted and taken care of and staff was really nice around the clock.

Not my first visit in this hotel. My stay in this hotel was awesome as always. The room was very comfy and clean. The best thing in our trip was the friendly staff. The service was great and special thanks to Eippi for the sweet surprise in our room :)

We stayed one night before our Viking Glory cruise which was departing early in the morning. There is a couple of minutes walk to bus 1 that takes you to the harbor. This time we made the booking with my partner's name because he will get the senior discount with the code SENIOR on the hotel's webpage. The price was just 115 euros for a Superior room. We booked a Superior Twin room because they are more spacious than Superior King rooms. However, the price is the same. We were lucky to get again the only Superior Twin room facing to the market place which is still in construction but no noise could be heard. The breakfast was pleasant with a very calm atmosphere at 6:45. The food selection was wide.
