Fantastic stay - friendly manager, lovely rooms, great breakfast and a beautiful location. The bed was comfortable and even though it’s a characterful old house it was very quiet, the exterior gardens are beautiful and a joy to sit in in the evening. Would highly recommend

A lovely three night stay with my mother in this beautiful house whilst visiting family in the area. A large comfortable room, spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds, and a good en-suite with a good shower and a plentiful supply of hot water. A tremendous breakfast with an excellent choice. A perfect host made the stay even more enjoyable. Would highly recommend to anyone and look forward to visiting again soon!

We stayed 3 nights here. We enjoyed our stay very much. Colin was a fabulous host and he prepared superb breakfasts. We slept well in the comfortable king size bed. Nothing was to much trouble. Elmswood is ideally suited for visiting the Eden Project and there are lovely National Trust properties/gardens in the vicinity.

I can't fault the service of the host, or the breakfast, however the room we stayed in was very disappointing. - It was very hot when we stayed, no fan or AC provided in the room, - no fridge, - can't really sleep with the window open as the nearby church bell rings every 15 minutes (even through the night - thankfully, the soundproofing on the window is decent enough that you can't really hear it when closed), - the shower has poor water pressure, the bed is only really suitable for back sleepers (very soft), there are animals on site which we didn't see mentioned when booking, - Our room was adjacent/underneath some very creaky stairs.

Ce fut un agréable séjour dans ce B&B niché au cœur du joli village de Tywardreath, et géré par Colin gentil et aimable, à l'humour irrésistible 😘 Par ailleurs le petit-déjeuner copieux nous a pleinement satisfaits.
