We were the only guests at this home stay hotel in the countryside outside Udaipur. As such, you might have thought that they’d be pleased to have us stay but, for some reason, we were not given the usual Indian welcome and hospitality. Be aware that they don’t take credit cards (apparently) so you have to pay cash. Generally it was a disappointing experience but there are plenty of other great places to stay and visit in Udaipur.

Major and Mrs Joyti Das made our stay wonderful. The setting of the haveli is in a lovely location and one thinks you are off in the woods. A troop of Langoor monkeys entertained us and for this first time I saw giant tortoises which were being nurtured in the garden. The staff was great and the food excellent especially the breakfast, will definitely be returning on our next visit to Udipur.

What a serene place to visit!!! Wonderful hosts with lavish home cooked delicious cuisines... Warm and majestic greetjngs...tastefully built and lovingly taken care of all the minor details. Great view and location. Lavish rooms, rustic yet rich feel to the property... Caring and pleasant staff. Enjoyed the stay and hospitality!!!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this resort! The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. The beautiful surroundings and stunning views made it a perfect getaway. I can't wait to visit again!

We had an excellent stay with Maj & Mrs Durga Das in their peaceful homestay. Its an oasis of calm in the vicinity of a bustling tourist hub. Coneveniently close to all tourist attractions while providing a serene stay in a natural, green farmhouse like ambience. The rooms are spacious and well furnished and the staff is excellent. Chain Singh, the chef is extremely polite & courteous and so is the other staff, no doubt trained by the hosts. The property has large grounds for the pets to roam around with two excellent terraces. the one at the top provides a beautiful view of the entire town & its surroundings. The icing on the cake are the host couple, extremely friendly and gracious. They insisted that we spend our first evening with them and gave us a brief on all the sights to visit. It was really a pleasure interacting with them & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks.

We were traveling Udaipur as a group of 13 people and booked whole property! Some of us stayed there before and they strongly recommended this place so we all were excited. Trust us, this place was one of the best property we stayed in our life. Beautiful location, food, people, atmosphere, cleanliness, hospitality, swimming pool, no interference, what a lovely place! It was just wonderful. Since we were there for some work, schedule was tight and all the staff was supportive to arrange tea/coffee, snacks spontaneously! Also, we had to take an early morning flight, therefore, owner arranged the breakfast sandwich for everyone :-) Homemade food was extraordinary and everyone loved it. We highly recommend this place if you are looking for a stay in Udaipur! We will surely come back again.

We went to this home stay cum boutique place in January 2022 ! The enterance, dinning area , their main house were very well maintained and upto mark ! The rooms where we stayed were huge and decent And not that newly done Needed maintenance- bathrooms were very well maintained but the rooms needed an upgrade for the price that we paid The food was delicious and freshly made by their in-house cooks ! Very delicious and tasty !
