Borgo Mulino a Vento - Resort

We’ve stayed at Borgo Mulino a Vento twice already—on two different summers—and that says a lot, because we usually never go back to the same place twice. But this one was worth it, and we’re sure we’ll return again. Both times we spent a full week there and loved every minute. We love vacationing in Italy and have explored much of the country, but this accommodation and its surroundings have become one of our all-time favorites. There are plenty of great sights and activities in the area (a car is definitely helpful), but we also truly enjoyed just relaxing at the property itself—delicious food, excellent cocktails, and service that was even better than we could have hoped for. The entire staff was amazing. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing stay. We’ll definitely be back!

As a family of four we stayed in the Mulino a Vento for 3 nights in July. We had two rooms which were spacious with the added advantage of having a decent sized fridge which was useful for water and a few snacks. The staff were accommodating in ensuring we had twin beds for the teenagers. The resort is spread out into a little village style and it is maintained well and is very clean. There is a nice big pool and a bar area near by which serves lunch. The open restaurant area is separate and we ate there twice for dinner. It was very pleasant although for pickier eaters there may be limited choices. The menu changes daily but there is also an a la carte offering. The hotel organised a cookery demonstration one day, a trip to the old oil mill the next ( with an interpreter who was very nice as was the Italian lady from the hotel ) and also wine tasting. I recommend doing the tour to the old oil mill. It is very interesting. Otranto is 6 km away and we ate there one night. I would also recommend doing that for a change of scene. We had a lovely relaxing time and I hope to return in the future.

Peaceful resort with excellent service. We rarely stay anywhere that isn’t 5* but because of the great reviews we took a chance on this resort for our last night in Puglia. I have to say that we were impressed from start to finish - excellent food, wonderful service, clean, fresh rooms and an expansive pool for my kids. We stayed half board and had a decent dinner at the hotel restaurant. I would have happily stayed for longer.

The Hotel Borgo Mulino a Vento is beautiful! It has a charming flower area and a wonderful pool! The staff is very friendly and the room is very comfortable and cozy! A lovely and very romantic place to stay with your family or as a couple. There’s a nice choice for breakfast, some diversity for dinner, and a beautiful swimming pool and general area. You feel welcome and it’s very kid-friendly, with attentive staff meeting your needs. Highly recommended! I think photos would give more ideas

Lovely resort with excellent facilities. Room / suite outstanding, restaurant fine dining and really good, pool very nice and service superb with all staff keen to ensure all guests have a great stay. Based in a wonderful area with great places locally to visit. Would recommend.
