We stayed at West Sands hotel in the Grand Ocean View Suite. The room was beautiful and very clean. The hotel is very nice overall, and we had a great time. We must say that the staff was the nicest we ever encountered, especially the room service and the kitchen staff of the joined restaurant. The hotel organised excursions for us, and it was amazing. We saw whale sharks, mantas, nurse sharks and beautiful coral reefs. Thank you for an amazing experience West Sands!

We had a fantastic 14 days at Ukulhas, thanks to the dedicated team at West Sand. Our accommodation was great. The rooms are very well equipped, clean, cleaned every day. The staff is very nice and friendly. The manager of the hotel, Hardi, was extremely helpful throughout. We went to all the programs that the hotel has to offer and they organized everything for us fantastically. I can only recommend them!

Had a wonderful 4 day experience at the West Sands. Was picked up by Hardy at the harbor with a funny taxi vehicle. The west beach is like a huge swimming pool with very little current & waves. Snorkeling is great here and the reefwall is maybe 20-30m off shore. Sunsets are obviously amazing from here. We took the jacuzzi room on the roof for around $250 per night over the xmas holidays. A little pricey, but it is high season and Ukulhas is a great place to be. The room is huge at 40m² with a balcony and outdoor shower. It's like a penthouse. Beds were cozy and shower was great. There's always a steady supply of drinking water in bottles available. The breakfast spread was good enough. Small variety but gets you thru the day. The service by the Nepali girls was great, theyre super friendly and professional. Some minus points: The TV wasnt installed correctly so you couldnt use the remote control properly unless you stood close to the TV. And the toiletseat didnt fit the toilet lol. Lots of flies at the breakfast spread. I guess need to cover the food better in an outdoor setting. Small things that didnt detract from the overall experience. Great place, fantastic location, and friendly people!

Nice and clean hotel near to the beautiful bikini beach, polite and helpful staff, especially the waitress Nisha☀️🌺 The food was not so good and diverse in the beginning, but after we explained what we like and don’t like, everything was corrected 👍

One of the best hotels on Ukulhas. We stayed here with my family for 4 days and it was awesome. The staff is very kind and helpful. All meals very really tasteful. Our room was beautiful and it had kinda big balcony. They cleaned our room every day and changed towels. Right in front of this hotel is clean beach with beautiful corals. I highly recommend this hotel. And we will definitely have to go back here.

Such great atmosphere and friendly staff. Helped us a lot during our stay with planning the 3 days we were spending there. The most beautiful place i’ve ever been. We did the manta trip and the host Hardy helped us plan our diving trip with the next door diving instructor. Great food and clean rooms

If you are looking for a truly luxurious beachfront guest house experience in the Maldives, then look no further than this amazing guest house. From the moment we arrived, we were overwhelmed by the sheer beauty of the surroundings. The crystal clear waters and stunning palm trees of Ukulhas were a sight to behold. The guest house staff picked us up at the jetty and transported us to the guest house. The accommodation at West Sands was top-notch and the service was second to none. Our room was spacious, clean and had every amenity we needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was clean and the bed was soft and roomy. A TV with netflix and fast WiFi was provided as well. We especially loved that the guest house had direct access to the beach, with snorkeling gear readily available. The white sand beach was simply breathtaking and we enjoyed many hours of relaxation and tranquility there. The food was a highlight of our stay. We were treated to an incredible buffet of local and international dishes three times every day. The fish meals were particularly delicious. The waiters at the "Fisherman's Boat" (West Sands' dedicated restaurent) went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable meal. The staff at the guest house were incredibly helpful and friendly. They were always willing to help with any queries we had and went the extra mile to ensure our comfort. In summary, if you are looking for a luxurious beachfront guest house experience in the Maldives then this property is a must.

Excellent location just across the beach and great staff makes you fell welcome. The buffet in the evening always offered different options and was quite comfortable. Also the snorkeling is easy to access and has great variety. We would stay here for sure again.

I agree with all the recent positive comments. Good value; clean, spacious room and plenty of local character. Beach 10m away with no shoes required. Good snorkelling with a variety of fish including rays [small, harmless] sharks and turtles. We were B&B but chose to eat in the Fishermans Boat restaurant which has typical local food (fish, rice, noodles, roshi, mas huni, salad etc) wierdly not shown on the online menu. Imported items also available. Host is exceptionally helpful with transfers, trips and local information. The island is clean, safe and interesting - you can wander around to understand the way of life, buy stuff in the shops at local prices and appreciate genuine sights such as the free-flying parrots.
