Metro Aspire Hotel Sydney recensioner

Will recommend this hotel to friends who can enjoy city walks. It's located in a quiet and peaceful residence, very close to the UTS. Chinatown, Hay's Market, ICC theater, Darling Harbour and the central station are all within 1km walking distance. If take the light rail train from Hey's market, the most famous interested places in the city can be reached easily. Room is clean and big, with a balcony surrounded by trees. The staff are all friendly and helpful!

The service is quite good there. We have a balcony in our rooms but it is worthy upgrading to that room

First time travelling to Sydney and needed a place to stay that is close to the city but also quiet when you need to sleep. This place is perfect for that! It’s clean and had a great time!

Amazing hotel, and very close to the city.

Location is good - close to China town and 20 min walk to Central Station. Cleanliness is ok - the place is a bit old so there are stains on the sofa but it does not impact the overall experience much. The room is quite spacious as well as the bathroom. Could be a bit noisy though cause insulation is not very good - you can hear someone cough/ close the door/ speaking outside.

Positives: good location and spacious rooms. Negatives: Check in was complicated and a bit of a gong show. We were asked for passports from all 7 people in our family group. I’ve never experienced that before in Australia.  Absolutely no soundproofing, can hear everything going on in other rooms and hallways.  Sofabed was so disgusting and dirty we could not use it.

Other than location, there isn’t much appeal to this hotel. Front desk staff were quite disorganized, no one seemed to know what they were doing. It was a bit of a stressful check in experience. We’ve never experienced such a chaotic check in before. As for the hotel itself, on the surface it looks ok but there are so many things that aren’t ok. Elevator smells musty, our bed mattress smelled bad, the sofa bed was so disgusting that we couldn’t use it. Absolutely no soundproofing whatsoever in this hotel. I would not stay here again.

Nice hotel near Central Sydney. Quiet area but easy and fast access to the city center

Very reasonable price, especially on the occasion of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. Location is very good, convenient to go everywhere. Rooms are spacious & clean. Services are exceptional. Highly-recommended.

Nice old cozy room Near the city!

A room is comfortable, staffs are also friendly. There are many facilities. Y’all can pay 20$ each to have a breakfast. This hotel is near Paddy’s market, China town, Thai town etc. you can walk along to line rail to find a stores or restaurants! and I think it’s reasonable, convenient and peaceful! I’ll recommend this place for my friends if they will travel to Sydney for sure! Lastly, the housekeeper cleaning my room every day. I love it. But if you travel with your grandma or grandpa it’s a bit hard to get to this place cuz you need to walk for 5 mins to this place.
