Three Gables Guesthouse

A wonderful overnight stay at Three Gables Guesthouse in Upington. Lana and Sonny are lovely hosts. We were offered a welcome tea and coffee with some biscuits and chocolates, beautifully presented on the upstairs stoep of the main house overlooking the gardens. Lana was gracious enough to make a recommendation to a restaurant for our evening meal and even offered to make a reservation for us if needed. The property is well looked after. The bedrooms are air-conditioned and are well equipped with a bar fridge (cold milk provided), a tea/coffee station with a kettle, selection of tea, ground filter coffee, sugar, and some rusks. An en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower with freshly laundered towels, soaps and hand lotion provided. A delicious home made cooked breakfast is provided, along with yoghurt, cereal, croissants, fruit, a selection of jams. Freshly brewed coffee or tea and fruit juice is also available. I would not hesitate to stay over at Three Gables Guesthouse in the future when travelling through the Northern Cape.

We were here for the fourth time and don't even consider looking for alternatives in this town: the rooms are great, breakfast big and delicious, the premisses grand, and the host very professional and sympathetic.

A safe place with the most wonderful host, Lana. Fantastic breakfast with a changing special every day. Cosy rooms, green garden, excellent laundry service, Restaurant reservations (red ox and Zest), just everything. Would love to come again. Thx Lana!
