The ideal accommodation to explore Urbino, situated in the historic centre (attention: limited traffic zone, but parking Mercatale very close). All attractions, bars and restaurants in walking distance. Very quiet, comfortable rooms, decent breakfast, kind and helpful staff at reception.

We enjoyed the location of the hotel – close to the sites and many restaurants. The hotel personnel were helpful and friendly. The room was modern and kept very clean. The breakfast room was modest in size and sometimes a bit hectic, but the breakfasts were very good.

Great hotel. A very old building located close to the historical sites that has been renovated into a beautiful modern style. Wonderful English speaking staff that gave us great food recommendations. Excellent Wi-Fi. Good breakfast. Our room had a great view. The only downside was that there are no use ports in the room.

I spent one night in Urbino and found this clean, well run hotel perfect for my needs. It is located close to the elevator from the large parking lot and a short walk from the major sites. Ok breakfast, on par with what I’ve experienced elsewhere. The desk clerk spoke good English and provided a good recommendation for a nearby trattoria. If ever in Urbino again I’ll stay here. Good value.

Very good hotel, simple but very clean and with a perfect location to visit the beatiful Urbino. The staff is nice and helpfull. Rooms are quiet and well equipped. Breakfast is not very good, could be improved. They have also possibility to park the car not too far.

It was the first time i visit Italy, i had a contribuiton to Urbinoinacquerello festival as an artist , so i chose albergo italia to stay . It's not costy according to its services .. so It was an excellant experience . The location is at the center , the hosting is perfect as i mean the rooms are so clean , and contain everything you need : tv , free wifi , clean towels and beds , and every morning they check to clean .. the breakfast is also amazing and rich with various types of food and drinks . i really wish to visit Urbino again and stay in this hotel . It is classified as a 3 star hotel , but the service is 5 stars 💜

Very nice traditional hotel close to historic center of town with very nice view from the room and an excellent breakfast with friendly helpful staff. We really enjoyed it. The one thing is if you come in a car you will need to park in a parking lot at the base of the city wall. About five minutes away by elevtor. You can drive there to drop bags but then need to park.

I was a bit uneasy after reading reviews here but decided to take the risk since the central location and availability of parking made this hotel look appealing enough. To my surprise I got more than I bargained for. The place looks recently renovated, with the room clean and freshly painted, with a new double-pane window, new bathroom, new furniture. The location indeed couldn't be better, a 5-minute walk to the Palazzo Ducale. Street parking is possible but we were not in luck and had to use the public parking for EUR 12 overnight. The wonderful front desk lady explained in great detail how to drive there and how to walk back. Breakfast was standard. Nice stay overall.

Central, 2 minute walk under arcade to central square - very close to all attractions. Very old building. Clean, very pleasant helpful staff, who gave us good recommendations for restaurants. Good choice at breakfast. In need of a revamp, bedroom felt quite spartan - a bit like a hostel room.
