Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba

I arrive late at night and the kind staff made me a sandwich and a plate of food. My room was a corner suite with windows that looked out at the mountains. Everything was impeccably clean with lovely ambiance. The hotel offer walks around the property and I took the night hike and learned about the Incan legends of the night sky. They even have two llamas on the property!

Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba is a truly stunning property set in the heart of a peaceful and serene landscape. Surrounded by mountain views and the morning chorus of countless birds, it offers an authentic, colorful, and stylish design that blends beautifully with the natural surroundings. The cozy fireplace in the room was a wonderful touch, perfect for warming up at night, and the thoughtful addition of a hot water bottle made it even more comfortable. I took part in the twilight walk with Hiroshi, whose deep knowledge of the local ecosystem was impressive. He shared fascinating insights on the migration of local birds, the flora and fauna, and even the constellations, linking them to Inca culture and astronomy. The spa is a must-visit—a luxurious, beautifully designed space featuring a hot plunge pool and a variety of massage treatments to choose from. It’s the ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploration, offering a relaxing sanctuary. The surrounding region has so much to offer, and the hikes around the property are breathtaking. I wholeheartedly recommend Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba for anyone looking to relax, explore, and immerse themselves in nature.

I spent two nights in September 2024 and had a lovely stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful and my room was gigantic. The rooms are in separate casitas spread around the property. The food in the restaurant was very good. I want to correct another review, staff are easy to find in an office in the courtyard. I was delighted when the staff gave me a birthday cake. That was a nice surprise and greatly appreciated

It’s a little bit tricky to find the place. It is about 10 kilometers from urambamba right at the food of the Andean mountain - you have to take a gravel road - the entrance is very nice like a luxury hotel - the little Casitas are quite spacious. You have a nice shower and a nice view into the valley. The beds are very comfortable and cozy and they will give you a heater. You will have a fireplace. It’s a nice place for relaxing and maybe doing some walks. At least it is not touristy.

Discret and comfy luxury lodge at Inca's sacred valley. Excellet location, spacious room village, nice and sweet services, delicious cusine, fabulous tours and detailed ammenities. Highly recommended for international expensive tourists.

We spent two nights at this tranquil place, in a cabin overlooking the sacred valley. It is an ideal spot to rest after hiking the trails to Machu Pichu, with better weather than in Cusco or Aguas Calientes and a very relaxing atmosphere. The spa is small but very cozy and delivers top service for a fair price. We did two of the included excursions, basically short walks on the property that were nice. Food is very good, if you stick to Peruvian dishes, the pasta is not to be recommended. Service is very good.
