Urumqi Junhe Box Hotel (West Daqiao Hongshan Park Branch) recensioner

Quite and outdated hotel. Staff was not particularly friendly when checking in, we had to ask for all information rather than it being given to us. Room is spacious, but old and the bathroom was rather dirty. Room smells like smoke but that it the case everywhere in China.

Good service and good location. Around shopping area and food to eat.

The hotel is quite nice, the restaurant downstairs is really the best! Situated far away from the train and bus station but I guess everything is in Urumqi! Close to the parks in the center though!

One can tell that this was a tip top hotel by its nice thick towels with logo, bed sheets etc. it is now getting outdated but it's kept clean and service is good. Quite professional staff and the breakfast is good.

This was by far the worst hotel we stayed at during our 14-day trip to China. The internet is not available for tourists unless you have a local number, so don’t count on working or staying connected. The bathroom was a mess—the shower wasn’t properly sealed, and water flooded the entire bathroom every time we used it. It made the whole space unusable. The included breakfast was awful—oily, heavy, and totally unsuitable for a morning meal. The quality was far worse than anything from street vendors nearby. No coffee or even water was available to drink, only hot water. The room itself was old and rundown, with many things broken or in need of repair. On top of that, the staff seemed scared of tourists and didn’t speak any English, making communication nearly impossible. Overall, this was the worst hotel we stayed at for the price. We expected much better and recommend looking elsewhere.

Overall very good stay. Room was comfortable and location great. Front desk maybe could be a bit friendlier. Would come again.

This hotel is located at a T-junction, single 2-way lane and a one way lane. The surrounding is not impressive but convenient to get local food and drinks (beer especially) and go around. The room is spacious enough and the clean bed linen gives us a good night sleep. Breakfast is typically Chinese style, soya bean drinks, porridge, boiled eggs and cooked food. No bread and coffee is provided. Nevertheless we stayed there for 10 nights.

The beds are hard and uncomfortable. The WiFi isn’t strong. Located near some city parks. The shower is spacious.

Front desk is helpful. Location is great with everything you need around you.

They were really helpful despite my lack of Chinese - everyone is nice and the location is ideal. The breakfast is also delicious! Great spot!

Super location, but: - some maintenance needed in rooms - staff not helpful -

We had a very good stay. The team is very friendly, some people speak English. The room was neat, The bathroom clean and everything worked properly. We would really recommend to stay here, we extended one night.

Bases clean there’s no hustle for us to go there. Location is great.
