Liangzhu Homestay (Urumqi Zhongyinggong Subway Station)

This was our first stop during our time in China and we were very happy with our choice. Really easy to find through Didi, 20 minutes from the airport. Easy check in, the room was a good size with the bedroom and bathroom upstairs. There is some noise from neighbours but only really when they are in the hallway. Located right next to a coffee shop, taproom and supermarket around the corner. What really made our stay was the lovely staff; Sophia could speak English very well and was extremely helpful and the other members of staff were always welcoming and warm. Of course there is also beautiful Han Han the cat. There is a drinking water fountain which was amazing and saved buying lots of bottles. Our room did smell quite smoky despite it being a non-smoking hotel but that would be our only real negative. Amazing value for money. We would happily stay again and recommend it to others! 😊

It's a very friendly and relaxed place. The neighbourhood is really nice as well. It's just a short ride from the train station and filled with loads of restaurants and grocery stores and markets. What sparked my interest in this hostel is that the bathroom is downstairs and the room is upstairs. This way you don't have to listen to everyone using to bathroom and the lights won't wake you up. And in reality it worked really well as well; ) The other thing I liked was that they don't hand out single use toiletries and water bottles which sa⁹fes a lot of rubbish. The beds and bedding are really comfy if it is just you in the bunk. If you've got an neighbour then the bed shakes everytime someone moves which is a bit annoying. Unfortunately there's just one big light so everytim⁹e someone needs some light the whole room is brightly lit. A suggestion would be to have multiple lights that are less bright or fit all beds with curtains. Since a lot of people don't know what it takes to be considered curtains would probably safe a lot of grief. I'll definitely come back when I'm in Urumqi again!

A cosy little stopover with a host that's very helpful for foreigners. She can speak a bit of English and got me a beer. Clean, very spacious. It's more a hotel than a hostel. There's plenty of parking and not too far from the train station and close to the subway. Nice and quiet neighborhood for some good rest.

Reception staff were very enthusiastic and friendly. Will stay again when I comeback Urumqi!

Our stay at the hotel was perfect! It’s designed really cute and looks just like in the photos. The staff is amazing too! I’d definitely come again :)

This place is amazing for foreign travelers, i came here for 2 nights after one horrible one at another place, and sofia and the staff were ao helpful with everything! Sofia has amazing english and she also recommended amazing food places to eat. I would highly recommend for solo travelers to come
