Hotel Monaco

Stayed three nights before boarding Antarctic cruise. The hotel is well located within walking distance of restaurants, shops and attractions. No soundproofing and thin walls. Lots of noise from the hallways. The room was clean, albeit quite basic with minimal furniture: beds, night stands, a counter and a chair for two people. No closets, luggage racks, or even hooks. Thermostats were disabled and the room temperature could not be adjusted. I was told to open the window if we were too hot. There are no screens at the windows. Reasonably comfortable beds and pillows. Not all power sockets worked: some of them appeared to drain devices instead of charging them. Bathroom with everything in working order. Basic breakfast. Average wifi. For check-in, we received an email asking us to check-in online, by filling out a form on the hotel website with multiple questions including marital status and profession (which should be irrelevant for a hotel stay). However, when we arrived at the hotel, the front desk staff stated that they didn't have access to the online information, and asked us to fill out a paper form. Check-out time is fairly early (10:00). For the price paid, the hotel was ok. However, I wouldn't stay again.

We had a very good service. It was clean and soundproof. I would recommand this hotel very well located. The casino and the restaurants are nearby. They had a very easy parking to use. Excellent ratio quality/price. My friends and I would come back to this hôtel

The location is very convenient (just a couple of minutes from the grocery store, surrounded by restaurants and coffee shops). The staff was ok but didn't particularly stand out. The room was clean and simple. Nothing too fancy (no safe). Not sure if all of them but my room was facing the sea which was very pleasant. WiFi was available in the room but could be better down in the lobby. Totally ok for a couple of days/nights to spend in Ushuaia.

Péssimo, já iniciando pelo atendimento da recepção, grosseria e antipática. Quarto fedendo, cheiro de esgoto voltando do ralo do banheiro. Solicitei troca de quarto e fui super mal atendida. Não fizeram questão de solicitar o transtorno. Pior que albergue, talvez se fosse teria sido melhor atendida. Não indico.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, en plena calle principal y a pocas cuadras del puerto, lo que facilita el acceso a todo lo que ofrece Ushuaia. El personal es muy atento y agradable, siempre dispuesto a resolver cualquier duda, y se encargaron de responder a todas mis consultas con rapidez. El desayuno es variado, con opciones que incluyen frutas, huevos revueltos además de productos con harinas, lo que resulta bastante completo para empezar el día. Si bien no tiene restaurante para cenar, esto no representa un inconveniente, ya que al estar en el centro de la ciudad, hay muchas opciones cercanas. La habitación me pareció cómoda y espaciosa, con buena iluminación y suficientes enchufes, aunque la cama podría haber sido un poco más grande para mayor comodidad. Como único punto negativo, no me sentí del todo seguro dejando mi valija en el área designada para el equipaje el día de mi regreso. Creo que un lugar cerrado y más seguro sería una mejora importante. A pesar de esto, si vuelvo a Ushuaia, el Hotel Monaco sería una opción que consideraría nuevamente.

Buena ubicación sobre calle principal, desayuno completo con variedad de tortas y facturas, muy buena limpieza, vista panorámica en habitación, trato amable de los empleados, buena calefacción, cuentan con secador de pelo en las habitaciones. Cosas a mejorar pintura de paredes, acolchados con manchas.
