Résidence Alpina Lodge

Currently staying in one of the rooms, and if you want a large space it ticks the boxes. However, the room smells of excrement and in most of the other rooms, there seems to be a nightclub with excessive noise right up until the early hours. There is nobody here to talk to, or to share my views with. It is literally anything goes if you are a teenager who wants to stay up to the early hours then this is a great place. If not, stay away.

the staff at Alpina , we fantastic , nothing was too much trouble , always friendly and accommodating. The rooms are tired and run down , we had a room for three , the double bed was a fold out Couch . don't book in advance they will put you on the first floor and the Music from the disco goes to 4-6 am in the morning , if you have small children think again . unfortunately its a no smoking venue ,that does not stop the guests throwing their buts out the window, followed by something equally more disturbing, perhaps a note from the hotel management advising of the penalties for smoking and the mess it makes to the ground floor residents is appalling . we had to move mid way through our 12 days stay , its clear the management is getting maximum return against value for money , be fooled by the picture , that is the front that faces the main road , you enter via a lane , check before hand when reception is open as it generates anxiety when you arrive and you have no idea what the hell is going on , the access to ski lifts is 150 m again via a back lane . I would reconsider your booking if you have made one , there are so many places to choose from .

Run away!!! Do not book this flophouse come dorm room. We were bombarded by the acrid sweet smell of the bathroom ceiling covered with mold and mildew! Large black blooms of fungus covered the ceiling! Cleaning was a problem as we found cigarette butts on the balcony, empty soft drink bottle a in the closet and Ewwww, someone else's peanut bitter and bread in the kitchen cabinet! Not sure this is a place even college students can stay! Pleasant staff, tho not empowered to fix things. We also saw human blood droplets all over the stone tiles in the lobby and elevator, not thoroughly cleaned the next day. Empty pizza boxes and french fries in the inner lobby, resting there for 24 hrs. Buck up, you're gonna need fortitude to stay here with non functional Wi fi and the SMELL!!!! This place has the potential of being clean, cute, and functional if the management cared.

Spent 4 days in Jan 2023 with friends skiing in Val & Tignes and we stayed at Alpine Lodge, overall it was great and we all enjoyed it. Yes its at the budget end for Val D for accommodation, but it was exactly as we all expected. Great central location (you really could not ask for better) Ski lifts were 2 min walk away as were all the main shops, bars and restaurants. The bedding was fresh and clean as were the towels. Bathroom was decent with an ok shower with good hot water. Some of the negative reviews on here i just don't get, i don't know what people expect for this type of price range in the likes of Val d isere. There is a slight smell from the toilets but we have experienced this before in other hotels in Val D isere over the years and i personally think this down the the actual sewer system in resort. It really is not an issue or that noticeable. The room/apartment we had was big for ski resort standards with a decent little kitchen that allowed us to do our own egg and toast, porridge etc for breakfast. decent sized fridge also along with microwave, dishwasher, induction hob etc. Our Room/apartment was also nice and warm. The noise from the underground bar did get a bit loud at times (especially on Wednesday night) but after the 1st night of waking up due to the noise i just used ear plugs from then on and slept perfectly fine for the other 3 nights. Decent car parking available at additional cost, ski lockers were good (but take your boots back into your apartment as it is not heated (fine for skis and poles etc) Overall for the 3 of us (age range from 46 to 53) we found it a great base for us for a 4 days skiing trip. I would use Alpina lodge again if we go back to Val.

A éviter absolument, gros chantier en cour collé à la résidence résultat tous les matins du lundi au samedi inclus dès 7 h marteau piqueur pelleteuse grue tractopelles terrassement avec une trentaine de maçons sur le chantier, pour un réveil en douceur.Apres s être plaint,la responsable de l établissement nous a proposé un geste commercial de 30 euros pour la semaine chose que nous avons refusé car nous ne sommes pas des clochards et cette publication vous mettra en garde Sachez aussi qu il y a beaucoup de chantiers dans Val d Isère en ce moment

Le meublier est tres usagé et rudimentaire,la moquette a besoin d un rafraîchissement urgent pour pretendre a un appartement hotel 3 etoiles. Ca ne merite pas ce classement. De plus des travaux en cours a côté de l hotel vous empeche de profiter du petit balcon et de dormir apres 7h30 , cela aurait pu etre signalé par l hotel. Bref, un lieu a eviter si vous souhaitez passer meme quelques nuits.
