Rummet var på 4:e våningen och utsikten från balkongen var fantastisk. Rummet städades dock inte så bra, det fanns skräp kvar från den förra gästen, och trots att vi stannade i flera nätter så städades inte rummet och vi var tvungna att skaffa egna handdukar, vilket var den sämsta hotellservice vi kunde tänka oss. Det är synd eftersom Vang Vieng är en så underbar plats.

Hotellet har en vacker utsikt över floden och berget. Rummen är rymliga och har balkong. Frukost kan intas utomhus nära floden. Det finns en pool.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lisha Riverside Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, attentive, and made me feel right at home. The location is stunning—nestled peacefully along the river, with breathtaking views that added a special charm to each morning.

This hotel felt quite run down. We arrived to the lobby with two old mattresses leaning against the wall. The room was big and had lovely views, however, the door had cracks in it that you could see through to the hallway and hear everything going on outside the room. The bathroom is in need of desperate repair. The AC roared loudly on and off all night, the metal from the AC rattled the windows. The sheets did not fully cover the mattress (just a loose sheet on top of the bare mattress, so in the night I found myself touching the old mattress with my hand). White duvet had stains. Pool was really nice with river views, definitely the highlight of our stay. We went elsewhere for breakfast after seeing what was offered. Staff were helpful in booking a tuk tuk and storing our luggage for the day.

To begin with, the name of the hotel on Trip isn’t the same as the actual hotel so it took a long time for us to find the hotel. When checking in, we were told that the TV wasn’t working, and it didn’t work for the whole 4 days we were there. There was a fridge that wasn’t plugged in , simply because it was in the wardrobe and there was no electrical socket nearby. There was also a phone that wasn’t plugged , just left in the wardrobe too. The staff is completely useless. They never greet you when you pass by the reception of when they see you on the property. They are too busy playing with their mobile phones. The bathroom was dirty, the sink was clogged and there was a hole in the wall that was really strange.
The hotel is mainly for Chinese tourists who have no respect for anyone else’s staying in the hotel. They are loud and noisy at every time of the day; they spit on the property and smoke on non smoking floors but nobody seems to care.
At breakfast, they rush , push you and grab as much food as they can. We went to breakfast on the first day and never went back again. It was like feeding time at the zoo.
We left the room as early as we could and returned only in the evening but despite that, had to sleep with earplugs every night.
Worst hotel every, avoid at all cost.

For the price, the stay was okay. Rooms were clean. The breakfast was just okay. The bar service was not active and there is no restaurant on the premises to have lunch or dinner. During my stay it was raining heavily so it was inconvenient to leave the hotel to get food. The pool and view is beautiful. The location is great too. Walking distance to the walking street.
