房間海景向酒店設施（海灘🏖️）一面從價格和舒適度上均遠較另一面為高，用了兩個房間故此作了對比。同時，千萬要提前訂，否則在各大平台都會顯示無房，可你從前台用高些的價格仍然可以隨時拿下房。

第一次入住這家全包式酒店，衞生便利且十分靠近海邊，非常符合我們的期待，距離VIAZUL車站8公里，大約十美金。預訂的是早中晚餐全包房型，用餐體驗也很好，煎蛋以及牛排很美味，晚間的活動也很熱鬧，不虛此行！

全包酒店，餐廳的自助餐食物口味與品質都不錯，服務也非常好，酒水也是免費的，晚上還有演唱，推薦推薦，雖然客房設施有點舊，但是性價比非常高了

Non è stata una esperienza rilassante. Partendo dalla reception, Personale scortese. Ci hanno assegnato una camera dove sopra la nostra, ogni mattina, iniziavano i lavori di ristrutturazione. Già dalle otto di mattina si sentiva martellare, usare il flessibile, pezzi di muro o carton gesso cadere e comunicazione ad alta voce tra loro. I lavori proseguono tutta la mattina e parlando poi con la reception, sapendo di questo disguido, ci dicono che proseguono fino alle cinque del pomeriggio. Era impossibile riposarsi con questi rumori ripetitivi e fastidiosi. La doccia pessima. Abbiamo trovato dei vermi sul piatto doccia due volte.Forse veniamo dal piano di sopra a causa delle ristrutturazioni. Pulizia accettabile. Solo dopo aver discusso di questo disguido incominciavano a fare più attenzione sulla pulizia. Servizio a tavolo pessimo. Alcune persone sembravano addirittura infastidite quando chiedevamo un bicchiere d'acqua o un cucchiaio. Una volta ci hanno pure ignorati senza nemmeno portarci da bere una volta seduti. Melia e la peggior esperienza e catena hoteliera che abbia mai provato. Non la sceglierei mai più in futuro, non la consiglio.

Отель семейный, много шумных детей)) относительно новый, шведский стол отличный, много перекусных на территории, номера чистые, обслуживание хорошее, особенно если владеешь испанским, пляж не очень частый, но всё равно красивый. Территория большая, красивая, бассейн большой, но воды по пояс, мелкий. В общем, рекомендую

Second time at this resort. Love the beach and always plenty of chairs. The pools are nice but not always available chairs. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Big shout out to Jorge in the buffet and to the bar staff Raime and Nivaldo. Sergio in the night club is always a pleasure. The bungalow suites are large and roomy. There is a fridge, kettle, living room, large bathroom with tub/shower and separate rainfall shower, large bedroom and walk in closet with safe. Food is always good and plentiful. Never had any shortages. Enjoyed the massage service and very reasonably priced. $45 US for 60 minutes. I would highly recommend this resort and will be returning myself on the next trip to Cuba

Sol Palmeras has so much to offer on your vacation. From a stunning beach to walk along and see sunrises and sunsets, to the beautiful resort, pools, rooms, and restaurants We have been at this resort 6 times and occasionally they have struggled with some food availability but we all felt this visit the food was varied and plentiful and as always, prepared with pride and attention and served by amazing servers. The staff at this resort is the very best l have encountered on all our travels. The entertainment team is so much fun from beach and poolside games to aqua fit and poolside dance lessons. A special shout out to Mariam, Reniel, Tato, Issac and Thelma for making our vacation so fun filled. Also a special thank you to Nivia and Maylin in the buffet for starting each day with us with a smile and a hug. The biggest thanks goes out to Dayana Martin in customer service who always ensures our visits run smoothly from check in to check out. We went from January 14-21. This review is for those who have never been and have read reviews and are on the fence as well as heard stories from friends and family. Here is my honest review and I hope it is helpful. Why would we book Cuba? For the beach of course! We have travelled in the last couple years to Riviera Nayarit, Cancun, and the Dominican (PP side) and crave a beach and ocean that is clean and clear and boy did we get one. This beach was unreal. Calm waters, teal blue and crystal clear. We had two glorious days of green flag calm days and 1 yellow flag day where we got to enjoy the waves. Clean water without floating trash or tons of weeds. There are free rentals of the pedal boat to enjoy which we took out twice! Never had to worry about saving spots as they were half capacity when we were there so tons of seating available. The bugs do bite and we did bring bug spray but at night they still get you. I have about 11 bites and they are really itchy so bring after bite as well! The rooms were nice. Now this is not a super fancy hotel and the "renovations" of fresh paint are not done by a professional painter as the paint splatter was all over the wall and on the floor but I am not visiting to sit in my room and look at the paint job. Because my kids are 13 and 14 they placed them in a room beside us. My teens loved not sharing a room with us. The wifi was decent (it would kick you off after an amount of time as it is a timed session, easy enough to reconnect) plus we had a land line phone to stay connected with them next door if we couldn't trust our internet connection. The power/lights will work when you put your key card into a slot by the main switch. (trying to save you time as I ran around trying to figure out why the lights were not on lol) We were on the main floor with a pool view (Superior Rooms 1066 and 1065). The pool view was a walk out which I loved as we could sit by the pool and easily run to our room and back without going through the hotel hallways or using stairs or elevators. My husband and I had a room with king size bed and my kids had their own room beside us with 2 twins. My favorite part of these rooms was the dehumidifier. Yes our rooms came each equipped with a dehumidifier. If you have ever vacationed before in tropical humid destination, you know that the mildew smell can wallow in a room. These little units filled up fast but my vitamins stayed dry and no mildew odor! The AC unit was clean and not filled with gross dirt and dust from neglect. The rooms also came with umbrellas! on the rainy day we had we could stay dry when walking around. Plugs for chargers and computers were fine and labelled - I have attached photos. The only issue with the room facing the pool that some people did not like was that some of the shows at night were at the pool. They have a pool/swim style ballet show and music volume at this resort is always turned up to 11. The AC and dehumidifier were loud in the room so the music

Nice service, staff is good , animation people are nice ! We have play a lot volleyball on the beach and on the court . I recommend this place . Isaac is a good boys really nice guys ! This guys is like a golden retriever always smiling and always got energy

I went to Sol Palmeras with my husband and two children, ages 9 and 13. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed every moment of our stay there. The hotel is old, but well maintained and very clean. All common areas and the garden were clean and tidy at all times. Our room was spacious and renovated, but it could use additional paint touch up and a better sleeping arrangement in the sitting area. The balcony was big and we had a pool view, which was amazing! The bedding was pristine clean and the room was swiped and tidied daily, with fresh towels provided when we needed. The maids were friendly, polite and hardworking. The food was good, and there was always a good selection of fresh salads, fresh fruits, cheeses, bread, pasta, pastries, wood oven baked pizza, eggs in different ways, pork, tuna, burgers, french fries, steamed veggies, sea food etc. The snack bar offered burgers and sausages, with salads and bread during the day and the ice cream stand offerred an excellent ice cream. There was always something to eat and drink (variety of juices, coffee, tea, excellent white wine). We are not big on alcohol or cocktails, so I can't comment on the selection. The pool area is great, with lots of activities for kids and grown ups: ping pong table, volleyball and basketball, zumba and water aerobics classes, line dancing, kids activities and games with animators. Clean beach towels were provided daily. The best part of the resort is definitely the beach - white sand and shallow, clean and warm ocean, perfect for relaxation and having fun. Animators were engaging the guests with stretching exercises, line dancing and beach volleyball. The staff all over the resort was polite, welcoming and professional, going out of their ways to make our stay enjoyable. The highlight of our vacation was snorkeling in the Bay of Pigs with Alejandro. We highly recommend it as it was perfectly organized, with great transportation to and from the location (2h drive in each direction). We had two snorkeling sessions to explore corals and the colorful wildfile in the bay, and to see the shipwreck which was a further away from the shore, and finally had a lunch at a traditional restaurant.

We visited sol palmeras with a group of family,we had a really nice experience in the buffet with Maidelys she always organized some arrangements for us,thanks again Maidelys for all your support and nice service,the food was great every time,they had another option for breakfast by the pool and we enjoyed literally because was more relaxed and quiet. I Remember the waitress name was Yeny amazing service always.In general all the staff were great I would like to mention some of them to say thanks for all the great hospitality Michel the bellboy,at the reception Yamile,Juanita,at the pool nany ,at the lobby Ernesto is very friendly, the hotel is one of the best we stayed in varadero,is very close to Plaza America another amenity,in the way to plaza America we ate in the jacuzzi snack bar and was the best hamburger of the hotel also Yeny was amazing and professional thanks, the beach was beautiful we used to walk in the morning if you planning to go to varadero this hotel will be amazing and you never will be disappointed,also don’t forget to tip this people work very hard and they don’t have so much stuff,if you see someone acting little grumpy maybe is because that person didn’t sleep well due the power situation in Cuba don’t get personal,just enjoy your vacation and thanks for all those people that helps with donations the Cuban people.

Best resort in Varadero, possibly the best in Cuba! I've been to Sol 4 times in the last 2.5 years, now I will tell you why we keep coming back! The Staff: Dayana in guest services is the best, she has been there for years, her English is incredible so very easy to communicate with. I am in the hospitality business in Canada and I've never seen someone so passionate about there job, well done! Juanita in reservations is always there for us making sure we get the room and location of the hotel we are looking for, thank you! Oda is always available to us to book our alacartes , thank you! Alice in Wonderland ( I believe that's what other staff call her ) at the check in desk is so nice, one time we were late arriving and we we were pretty grumpy and tired and not at our best but she made us happy eventually! Thank you ! Thank you to all the bartenders and servers : Manuel , Jorge , Raime , Chang , Dia, Jose to name just a few , they are all great and enjoy their jobs. Also Sergio at the Disco ( Fun Pub ) There are so many more names that I just can't think of. right now. Thank you to the cleaning ladies that keep the washrooms and common areas spotless,I was constantly thanking them and leaving them money or small gifts to show them how much they are appreciated . Thank you to our chamber maid, incredible job, sorry I can't remember your name! IIm missing so many names but we will back In January to thank you all in person! The food is actually really good , the alacartes are great, and lots of variety at the buffets The beach is incredible, easily the best I've been to and I've been to a lot of beaches! There is so much space and so many loungers and palapas. You can be a part of the action by the volleyball and music or you can walk down the beach a few minutes and basically be alone, amazing beach! The entertainment and entertainers are great. They added a magic show this time around, a must see ! One thing that's missing though is a rock band at night, Antonio can you make that happen please!? Antonio is the GM of the hotel, he's made some great changes and is constantly improving the hotel ! And he is looking good after losing over 40 pounds since our last visit, well done, stay away from the pizza Antonio! As you can see we love this place and you will too!
