Somit Paying Guest House

I felt good Here it is my second time . I came with my friend late night and stay ground floor . Full property was over booked but he has given space on the ground floor . Location is near ganga and kashi Vishwanath. Evening aarti place is near... Very good for budget travelling 👌

Nothing like mamas cooking! Comfy beds, hot water, lovely rooftop terrace. You will get the real old city experience. Somit was so very helpful with anything we needed. We felt it was like a home away from home. Happy to support the school. Would recommend!

Great hostel and in a good location. Somit is so helpful and friendly and is there to make your stay as good as possible. Would definitely stay again if we return to Varanasi. You can also volunteer in his free school if you like where he does great things for the community

Very centered and cosy place in the hearth of Varanasi. Somit and his mum Gita are amazing hosts and made us feel at home: Helping us when we needed, explaining stories and culture and always smiling 🙏 the food cooked by Gita is delicious, Somit give great classes of Yoga in the rooftop and there are a lot of possible activities donation based. There is also a school for children in the afternoon which make a this place be precious for the life of the hood. it has been a pleasure to be here 5 days in this magical city. Thank you Somit and see you next time!

정말좋아요 나와는 25년째 요가를같이하고있는선생님입니다 정직하고바른사람입니다 게스트하우스위치는 중심에있고 기차표,버스표도 바로구입가능해서 저도잘다녀왔습니다 I really like it. This is a teacher who has been doing yoga with me for 25 years. He is an honest and upright person. The guesthouse is located in the center and you can buy train and bus tickets right away, so I had a good time.

The experience here at Somit's is wonderful. From the moment you arrive, he treats you with complete kindness. He personally took me on walking and bike tours around Varanasi and explained the history. He is very warm and caring. On most afternoons, Somit had classes for underprivileged local children. I was honored to participate. I was able to teqch the children math and plant some trees. His wife and mother also make you feel welcome. They cook some delicious food and keep the place looking very nice. You feel like part of the family here. Somit's Guest House is in a very central location close to the Ganga River. At first I was a little intimidated because no cars can enter and it's all small alleys. But after being there, I understood that everything around the guest house is completely safe. The rooms are comfortable with great AC and fast WiFi. I am very thankful for this experience.
