Country Inn Goa Varca Beach - 2 Minutes Walk to the Beach

I recently stayed at Country Inn Tarika, Varca, and while its proximity to Varca Beach is its biggest (and only) advantage, the hotel itself leaves much to be desired. The rooms were dark, dingy, and had a musty smell, making them feel unclean and poorly maintained. The beds were wobbly and felt damp, with terrible pillows that offered no comfort. The hot water situation was frustrating, as each room had a tiny geyser that barely provided enough hot water for a quick shower, making it inconvenient, especially if multiple people were staying in the room. The pool was not maintained well, with dirty and smelly water, making it completely unappealing. The food options were limited and underwhelming, so eating at the hotel was not a great experience. The only real reason to consider staying here is its location—just 300 meters from Varca Beach, one of Goa’s best and cleanest beaches. Regardless of the weather, you can easily walk there without needing transportation. If you’re looking for a cheap place to just sleep near the beach and plan to eat all your meals elsewhere, this hotel is a decent budget option. Otherwise, it’s better to spend a little more for a more comfortable and well-maintained stay.

All the staff members in front office are well mannered and well behaved. However, about Shilpa I would say that this member is extraordinarily intelligent, have an ephhathetic and sympathetic approach for customers. She appears to be cut for some higher responsibilities.

Property is poorly managed. Swimming pool is not working though it’s showing on mm t swimming pool is working. Even things not provided which were mentioned in booking voucher.

Shame the pool was useable, as that was the main reason for booking into this hotel. They rung me too late to make alternative plans. If they didn't have power and water cuts then i would have enjoyed this stay. But with an average breakfast and a tired looking hotel, there isn't much to rave about. Although the staff were great and very helpful

Negative star hotel,don't go for it.Stink rooms, mosquitos in pool, ac not working, damp walls.HELL!

First day was terrible at resort with zero amenities functional. Location, food & staff is good. But the country inn top management is not maintaining the property well.
