The hotel is clean and modern, most likely due to the recent remodeling. As someone who has traveled to many counties of the world, this hotel has a good interior design. However, customer service and amenities needs improvement. Tipping culture is a big factor in Canada and the U.S., which I am well aware of, but to tip for a breakfast that is suppose to be included in the hotel payment doesn’t make much sense. To test out how well services will be provided, I purposely did not tip a few times and to my disappointment, customer service was not up to par with the hotel’s reputation. Tipping originated as a way to show gratitude to employees with outstanding customer service. Over time, that has changed and it is understandable. However, even if there is no tip given, basic customer service should be provided.
