Stunning & tranquil. Has a wonderful ‘old school’ feeling which is so relaxing. Peaceful low-key environment with beautiful grounds & quaint rooms. Friendly, efficient & helpful staff. Excellent location. Please don’t change anything as just loved our stay & can’t wait to return! Was just beautiful.

We stayed here for one night in July and really felt welcomed and relaxed here. We arrived mid afternoon and reception told us where we could still find lunch, ChezBob on the promenade. Which we thoroughly enjoyed, a very pleasant place to sit and relax after our drive. Hotel room was very spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good as well, particularly liked the fresh orange juice. The hotel grounds were in fantastic shape looked very well cared for. Swimming pool looked ok although we didn’t use it. Great location above the beach would go back

squirrel in the nice garden, located on top of the 'rock' near the beach, breakfast perfect choice, welcoming employees, good mattress, nice & quiet place to stay parking & area perfect

We love it here!! Our happy place by the sea. Wonderful customer care, lovely rooms and the best location! This was our third visit and will definitely not be our last! We feel this hotel should be a 4 star. The prices are a little higher than similar ones but we feel its worth it.

Great hotel at Vaux-sur-Mer. Perfect for visiting Royan Atlantique. Good sleep, quiet room, lovely garden and pool, good breakfast, welcoming staff and very good service. Restaurants and shops are available a few minutes walk from the hotel.

Excellent overnight stay on route to Bordeaux. Wonderful service, beautiful rooms and stunning choice of restaurant organised by the fabulous staff accommodating toddlers through to grandparents! Merci, we will see you again! (We stayed in main hotel in a classic double #12 and triple #23 beautifully decorated and good quality coffee machine (Nespresso) plus we had a triple room #14 amazing sun terrace to accommodate golden hour drinks and in room breakfast! Swimming pool and beach access as described - easy and perfect for all)

A real gem this one Lovely family rooms, with great access to the beach and the on site pool Rooms have ac Lovely breakfast on the deck - no restaurant for dinner but lots of options 5 mins walk away Best of all - miles of super safe bike routes and lots of stopping off points Seriously - don’t hesitate - just book it

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The weather was fabulous and we made the most of the beach and large heated outdoor hotel pool. Lovely local walks to other local resorts and the area was peaceful and so relaxing. We ate breakfast at the hotel every morning sitting outside and the ambience was like going back in time. Selection of breakfast food was lovely and the bread and croissants yummy. Lots of fruit and yoghurt available plus pancakes, cheese and hams. We booked a superior room in the main house and our only gripe was that the shower was in the bath with no shower curtain. Apart from that, the room and view of the gardens was beautiful. Would definitely recommend staying there as lots of lovely walks to do to other beautiful bays. Not as frenetic as central Rohan either.Staff friendly and helpful.

We were happy to come back to this hotel. We found again the same quiteness the same warm wellcome than our previous time there. We had a different room than before and it was very nice, it looked brand new and was confortable.
