Hotel Finca Aldabra recensioner

It's a great place to be. Close to the Sierra Nevada where you can go for beautiful walks. And close to Granada. The owner is lovely, always prepared to help and advise and speaks good English. We had a wonderful time. It made our stay in Andalucia a brilliant one.

We stayed at Finca Aldabra for a week, mainly for the skiing at Sierra Nevada. The ski resort is 20 minutes away but accommodation in the resort is much more expensive and hotels/apartments with parking are difficult to find. Beds were really comfortable and the bedrooms are nicely decorated. Everything was clean. Great breakfast for only few euros and you can help yourself to tea and coffee all day. Rooms have fridges, which was also useful. Inma is a very friendly and welcoming host. Checkout is 12 but we were even allowed to use one of our rooms all afternoon on our last day at no extra cost (we weren't travelling until the evening). One possible problem is that the walls between rooms are quite thin (at least where we were) so if you have noisy neighbours having a shower at 5:45am it's a bit annoying! Luckily that was only once. Overall this is a great value place to stay and we'd be happy to come back.

The perfect place for a cycling long weekend, with its bike shed equipped with locks and tools. Well located for gravel or road rides around the Sierra Navada, including up Pico Veleta. Very friendly management team, who lets us have a late check out. We enjoyed the pool, to relax in after a long bike ride. Will visit again, either with friends for cycling, or with family to visit Granada and the spectacular local area.

I stayed with my partner and 2 children at the Finca, the owner Inma was so easy to contact prior to and helped me with all my queries with no issues, the Finca was easy to find and signposted with a lovely village at bottom of hill with restaurants and bars/ amenities. The Finca was Lovely and peaceful and a stunning location. Pool was kept clean and we all enjoyed it, the rooms were very well decorated with good showers and one of the comfiest night sleeps due to good mattresses ( me and my family were all in agreement with this) plus easy to sleep in in the morning/ siesta as quiet, breakfast was perfect with a good variety of things to choose from and my 2 younger boys happy as well. This is a lovely family run place to stay yet you still are given privacy , I couldn’t recommend highly enough- we will definitely be back!

Finca Aldabra is set on the hillside of the Sierra Nevada. It's a lovely rustic family run hotel. With very friendly and helpful staff. The nearby town of Pinos De Genil has great bar/restaurants by the river. Such a peaceful relaxing place. Will definitely go back.

Colourful, warm and cozy rooms. A welcome change to modern chain hotels with disinterested staff. Very pleasant and helpful owners. A short drive up to skiing in Sierra Nevada, or down to walk around the pretty Pinos Genil village or Granada. Spectacular views, especially the sunsets. Looking to return soon with my wife.

The location, though difficult to find at first, is beautiful, nestled amongst the low mountains os the Sierra Nevadas. The staff are very friendly and speak good English. The rooms are first rate and the service is what you want from this type of accommodation. It is several kilometres from the nearest town (Pinos Genil), so a car is necessary. A continental breakfast is available as is other food and drink which is available on an”honesty” basis. For the traveller who wants something different but special, I truly recommend this hotel.

Ons verblijf in de Finca Aldabra was fantastisch! Een heerlijk ontspannen sfeer, zeer vriendelijke hosts en een prachtige locatie. De finca ligt op 5 minuten rijden van het gezellige stadje Pinos Genil waar je heerlijk kan eten (tegen zeer vriendelijke prijzen). Binnen een minuut of 20 ben je in Pradollano waar je het skigebied van de Sierra Nevada in kan. In de zomer is het vrij doods maar een ritje met de gondel brengt je midden in het prachtige berggebied van de Sierra waar je heerlijk kan wandelen en hiken. De kamers zijn lekker ruim en goed uitgerust met airco (wel nodig in de zomer). Het ontbijt is overdadig en de 'honest bar' vol met lekkere drankjes. Het zwembad biedt zeer welkome verkoeling op de warme dagen. Hier komen we zeker nog een keer terug!

Lugar maravilloso de mucha naturaleza y un servicio exelente de parte del personal de la finca. Todo kuy correcto y bien aseado. Las indicaciones e informacion sobre los restaurantes y sercios como Farmacia y supermercado han sido ceteras. Hay buena variedad de restaurantes con exelente servicios.

Les propriétaires de la finca sont très accueillants. Parking aisé, petit-déjeuner selon l'envie du jour, chambres simples avec balcon. Propre. Disponibilité de machine à café, micro-ondes, boissons,... Environnement verdoyant et calme et près de Granada. À recommander !

Sencillamente fantástico. El trato de Inma es inmejorable. La casa, muy acogedora. Hacía mucho frío pero se estaba muy bien en las habitaciones y por la tarde además, encendían la chimenea del salón y se estaba de maravilla. Tienen una sala con juegos de mesa, billar y libros. En ella pudimos acabar esas tardes de viento, frío y agua que nos tocó pasar. Las camas son muy cómodas, las habitaciones amplias y limpias. Para mí siempre lo menos higiénico de un hotel es que tengan cortinas de ducha en lugar de mampara y aunque éste tenía cortina, estaba limpia. En el desayuno tienes de todo lo necesario, no echamos nada en falta. Como no tienen restaurante, hay un comedor (donde se sirve el desayuno) en que puedes llevar tu propia comida. Dispones de vajilla y microondas. Comes, recoges tu mesa y dejas la vajilla sucia en un carrito para que ellos la recojan. Es realmente un servicio muy útil ya que la finca está en el campo y hay que bajar al pueblo si quieres comer o cenar en un restaurante. Además, te puedes servir un café, vino, refrescos, cerveza... y lo apuntas en una libreta que tienen en el comedor (por su puesto se pide honestidad a la hora de ofrecer ese servicio ya que ellos no están allí para vigilarte) para después pagarlo a la salida. Nosotros teníamos una de las habitaciones con terraza que no pudimos disfrutar por problemas meteorológicos pero con unas vistas estupendas. Sin duda, repitiríamos.

Zálige finca, rustig gelegen, grote kamers, fijne bedden, heerlijk afkoel zwembad! Absolute aanrader na een warme dag in de Alhambra. Het ligt er een kwartiertje vandaan, midden in de heuvels, dus ‘s avonds wat koeler. Leuke restaurantjes een dorpje verder en mocht je nog een drankje willen doen dan staat alles koud id koelkast en teken je, in vertrouwen, even op de lijst aan. Maar vooral de géwéldige gastvrouw was top!

Excelente. Es el segundo año que me quedo. Me encanta por este orden: la amabilidad y buen hacer de Inma y José, la finca por lo bonita y agradable que es y por último, lo bien que se descansa en medio del silencio y la naturaleza.
