El Balcon de las Nieves

They call this hotel home from home and the moment you walk in, you can see why. The atmosphere is just fantastic, the staff, the rooms, the food and the views are all just amazing. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. If you are looking for somewhere to stay for a complete relax but close enough to be able to visit Granada and all that the Sierra Nevada offers then this hotel ticks all the boxes. would highly recommend.

Very friendly staff, comfortable room (shower a bit challenging). An amazing view of the Granada conurbation. We also had an evening meal there which was lovely. The stairs were not a problem as the staff very kindly took our bags upstairs. Breakfast was excellent. Would recommend.

The staff at this hotel made our experience very nice. Our room itself was just okay...a bit dark with an awkwardly designed bathroom, no view and the smallest wall TV in history. But the beds were comfortable for sleeping. But the rest of the visit was great. Upon arrival, we were told the restaurant was fully booked but that the chef said we could be seated at 9:30 if we could wait that long. We did. SAnd although we had to order our meals in advance and some items were unavailable, the dinner was great. We had a table with a magnificent view looking at the lighted town of Granada from above. We could listen to country sounds of horses neighing birds chirping as we ate. Hotel rabbits chomped the grass feet from our table. The food was lovingly prepared and felt homemade. The service was outside. And when I tried to tip our service, he refused saying "He was just happy." In the morning, the buffet breakfast was a great way to start the day with fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit and other items. The hotel isn't 5-star but it made us feel like we were staying at a relative's home. We loved that and would return if in the area.

El Balcon de las Nieves is een kleinschalig, charmant hotel in de Sierra Nevada. Ideaal voor rustzoekers, want echt niks in de buurt wat je rust kan verstoren. De ideale uitvalbasis voor wandelingen in de Sierra (Pico Veleta, Monachil ...) Heel vriendelijke ontvangst met een persoonlijke rondleiding, heel aangenaam. De kamer was ruim, authentiek ingericht, groot balkon met uitzicht op Granada en de bergen, prachtig!! Ruime badkamer met prima douche en alles heel netjes. Ontbijtbuffet was prima verzorgd, en je kan aan het zwembad zitten met een prachtig panorama. Ook het diner was heel lekker. Je geeft tijdens de dag door wat je wil eten en wanneer, en alles wordt prima geregeld voor jou. Pedro en zijn team doen er echt alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. Ook de 2 heel lieve honden en de konijntjes geven een huiselijk gevoel. Kortom een echte aanrader voor wie van rust, stilte en een persoonlijke behandeling houdt. Wij hadden het perfecte verblijf hier !

Ein tolles Hotel mit super Aussicht auf Berge und Stadt, Charme und Persönlichkeit, wirklich lieben Personal und gutem Service. Das Hotel ist ein schöner Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen (absolute Empfehlung: Circular de los Cahorros - habe dazu auch eine andere Bewertung geschrieben mit Infos) oder Ausflüge nach Granada und der Alhambra (weitere Bewertung mit einigen Tipps und Hinweisen). Der Außenbereich eignet sich mit dem Pool, der Ruhe und der Aussicht super zum Erholen. Das Hotel ist total tierlieb, hat zwei verspielte Hunde und einen schönen Außenbereich mit Hasen, die auf dem gesamten Gelände herumlaufen. Was ich auch schön finde, auf dem Zimmer werden täglich Kaffee und Wasser für den Bedarf kostenlos nachgefüllt. Vor dem Hotel gibt es genügend freie und kostenlose Parkplätze an der Straße. Was ich noch hervorheben möchte ist das Restaurant mit Innen- und Außenbereich. Kräuter und Gemüse kommen zum Teil aus dem eigenen Garten. Richtig faire Preise für Abendessen und Getränke und wirklich tolle und leckere Gerichte. Absolute Empfehlung! Hier gibt es auch das wirklich gute Frühstück. Es ist einfach ein Traum auf der Terrasse zu sitzen, das gute Essen und die tolle Aussicht zu genießen. Was ich mir einzig in den Zimmern (wir hatten eine Suite) gewünscht hätte, wären ähnlich wie in anderen Hotels Duschgel, Shampoo und Lotion. Es gab leider nur ein nicht wirklich gut wirkendes Gel/Seife/Shampoo-Mix für alles. Abends war das Bad darüber hinaus muffig. Keine Ahnung was man da manchmal in der Nase wahrgenommen hat. Tipp: Wenn ihr eine Suite bucht, achtet darauf welche. Es gibt unterschiedliche Suiten. Alle Zimmer sind gefühlt unterschiedlich. Aber bei den Suiten gibt es eine moderne mit großer Fensterfront Richtung Tal und Stadt und eine Suite im rustikalen spanischen Stil mit kleinem Balkon.

Decidimos escapar un finde mi pareja y yo despues de una temporada con mucho estress. Hemos descansado y disfrutadonla naturaleza, las vistas es un lugar muy limpia, tranquila y bonita. Gracias tambien por dejarnos traer nuestro perro! Nos ha encantado todo!!

A quelques kilomètres de Grenade, dans la Sierra Nevada, petit hôtel rural très agréable avec une vue magnifique ! Tous nos remerciements à Natacha pour son accueil, son français, sa cuisine, ses conseils, sa disponibilité et son dynamisme !

Un lugar que supera las expectativas, te reciben Logan y Duna ( dos perros preciosos) la atención desde el primer momento es excelente, la tranquilidad, vistas, comodidad de las camas y todo muy limpio. Destacar como cocina Mari Carmen se nota que lo hace con mucho amor y la amabilidad de Pedro desde desde luego un lugar donde volver.

Si tengo que resumirlo en una sola frase. Excelencia rural. Fantástico hotelito rural en un entorno de ensueño. Sobresaliente y calidad en todo, desde la atención, zonas comunes, comodidad, oferta culinaria. Un 11 sobre 10. Repetiré seguro.
