What an amazing place. Stayed for 4 nights to get a bit of rest and relaxation and this is the perfect place. 7 little apartments that have everything needed in a beautiful area. Added to that are the lovely hosts who gave you space but are also happy to help in any way they can. Also best breakfast I have ever had. Made the perfect stay and somewhere I could see me returning often to. Tip - location is isolated (in a good way) so I highly recommend hiring a car.

This place is absolutely stunning with magnificent views of the mountains and a beautiful pool. The owner Stephane and the people looking after the property Oanna and Florin were super helpful and responsive. The property is truly beautiful super comfy bed, clean, beautifully done up with amazing attention to detail. Remote so will need a car to get around.

We had a fabulous nights stay in Casa Bambu which was handily placed on our journey across Andalucía. A very comfortable apartment and such beautiful surroundings. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and provided a fantastic locally produced breakfast with the most amazing flavours and textures. A beautiful place to watch the sun come up over the mountains. Do not miss this one if your are looking for a fantastic restful retreat or a weeks break away from it all.

Peaceful and relaxing location with stunning mountain views, lovely swimming pool in a very well cared for property. Slept really well in comfortable bed, room had everything we needed and was very clean. Breakfast was prepared by host from locally sourced food and was delicious and different each day. Hosts very accommodating and knowledgeable about the region, providing great suggestions for places to visit. We have had a fantastic holiday and would definitely recommend.

By sheer coincidence, on our way to Granada, we ended up spending one night in this wonderful pearl in the region of Axarquía. The warm welcome of Myriam and Stephan made us feel so at home and the room was perfect in all ways, clean and with comfortable beds. An extra treat was the exquisite breakfast we were served the next morning, better than any five star hotel breakfast, all prepared by our hosts. I cannot enough recommend this place as a base to explore the region and will definitely come here again whenever it is possible. Thank you Myriam and Stephan for everything!

Wonderful country resort. Nothing to much trouble for amazing hosts stefan and miriam. The studios have everything you need for a comfy stay. Beds amazing. Exceptionally clean. We did not have a car but managed to get to places with the help of stefan. Had a wonderful breakfast the first morning. We stayed for a week and didn't want to leave! We came as stefan and miriams guests and hope we have left as friends. Will definitely be back.

If you are looking for a serene, spotless bit of paradise that feels like home, this is the casa for you. The hosts Stephan and Miriam are incredible, nothing was too much trouble and every single thing you could need was considered. Stephan drive us around and was an amazing tour guide! Breakfast was all home made, locally sourced and delicious. Will definitely be back!!

The accommodation was peaceful, clean, and wonderful. The breakfast was always excellent and you could enjoy it in the wonderful scenery every morning. The swimming pool was a big plus. It is a perfect place to relax, I recommend it 10/10!

Casa Bambú is in a beautiful setting in the hills near to Vélez-Málaga. The hosts, Stephan and Miriam, gave us a wonderful welcome and were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our rooms were perfect, very nicely furnished and comfortable, each with a small kitchen with fridge and cooking facilities. There is a lovely pool with attractive seating areas around and wonderful views over the hills. Stephan’s breakfasts are to die for…all made with locally produced ingredients. I would highly recommend Casa Bambú as a lovely, relaxing place to stay.
