CX Venice Mestre

Very good location. Especially close to the train station. They accepted the late check-in, and we felt very welcomed. There was small issue but they've done alot work for us to be happy and we satisfaied what they offered us. Special thank to John at the reception. He always smiles and take care of our family every morning when he was in duty. All staffs were very kind and helful with excellent service. Thank you all.

This Hotel is just rubbish!!! The staff at the reception is impolite. The air-conditioning system is broken and under maintenance, but the staff didn’t tell us in advance or even when we checked in. When we entered into our room, we found the air-conditioning is broken, and asked the staff in the reception, they told us all the hotel’s AC system is under maintenance. Why they didn’t tell us before we entered into the room!!!!!! It was so hot all the night. I didn't sleep well the whole night, and I had symptoms of heat stroke the next day, accompanied by vomiting and diarrhea. Rubbish!b!

Overall is good! It is a new hotel at a convenient location. U can see many young people (uni students) stay in this modern hotel. Also it is a very eco-friendly hotel which you can’t enjoy cool air at the hotel lobby or hotel room in late May or early June. We have to open the window for a breeze.

An interesting place to stay when visiting Venice. Prices were good. It is a student dormitory (on 8 floors), while the last, 9th floor was opened as a hotel in March. The room is clean and has its own bathroom. We received a nice gift on arrival - a welcome card, water and vouchers for drinks at the hotel bar. There was a fridge in the room which is definitely a plus. The hotel is eco-friendly and at every step encourages through various forms to be eco-friendly as well. Hotel guests can use the gym, table football or billiards on the ground floor. If you don't feel uncomfortable in a student environment or like this kind of energy, this is an interesting concept to try. Breakfast was simple and sweet, the only salty touch being the option of toast. Staff was friendly and smiling. CX Mestre is very close to the Mestre train station from where you can get to Santa Lucia in Venice in a few minutes.

No interphone, don’t expect much. But the access to the bus stop or the train stop was good. But overall not good
