Venissa Wine Resort

Venissa Wine Resort was wonderful in all respects: the lovely room, the bed & sheets, the grounds, the helpful staff, the tasty osteria, the lovely wines and amazing story of the Dorona grape. It was a beautiful setting and an easy walk to Burano. Mostly, it was a welcome calm after the crowds and jostling of Venice.

Large rooms, wonderful location. At this time of year, the island seemed like a Christmas nativity scene. Kindness and disposition of the entire Venissa team. Perfect dinner and New Year’s Eve. Unforgettable vacation. Spectacular Services

We had a delightful lunch on a warm Sunday in their beautiful space. The tasting menu was delicious. A multi course of locally sourced ingredients from in and around the Venetian Lagoon. There was no meat and frankly not missed. Some really clever tricks of textures and fermentation made up for that. Highly recommended.

Venissa is beyond 5 star ... I keep returning to this place away from the over touristed Venice city centre . From the excellent service , the fabulous restaurants , the unique wine produced in the walled garden to the beach on the Lido just two Vaporetto stops away , Venissa has it all. Venissa and it's sister property Casa Burano are so special . If you are a family I would recommend Casa Burano as there is more space for family members to hang out , and the 5 minute walk over to Venissa over a footbridge and into the secret garden makes breakfast special . Enrico and all staff are so helpful and knowledgeable and they make Venissa the most fabulous place to visit .

From start to finish, from the moment the water taxi docks right outside of Venissa's door, your dream vacation awaits! From the beautiful, large, clean and modern appointed rooms, to the fabulous restaurants, gorgeous grounds and wonderful experiences, your stay at Venissa will be a trip to remember, and to long to return to. We found out about this hidden gem thanks to Stanley Tucci's show Searching For Italy...and our stay here exceed our expectations in every way. While much quieter than the hustle and bustle of Venice, the peace and serenity of the island of Mazzorbo was such a pleasant surprise. An easy walk across the bridge at the end of the property brought you to shopping and other dining options on the island of Burano, and you could easily take a water taxi to other islands, but I would be content to stay at Venissa forever! Thank you to the staff for all that you did to make us feel so well taken care of.

Hors du temps Venissa est toujours aussi agréable que mon premier séjour.On est dans le calme ,la verdure,les vignobles ,l'accueil souriant de l'équipe .Concernant la cuisine ,le restaurant étoilé est toujours extraordinairement créatif ,mais les spaghettis au crabe del'osteria un pur regal également. Nous avons apprécié le professionnalisme et la gentillesse de Elena au restaurant One star.
