This hotel is hours outside Venice with no way to easily get there. There website with their photo of Venice don't indicate or imply this. In fact, ferries cost 440eu round trip to directly take you to or from the island of BURANO. When I found this out I tried to cancel, but they refused to give me a direct number nor even an exact address where I'd be lodging as Casa Burano has different locations. They then charged me the full price for all the days I was supposed to be there and threatened to charge me a few for not showing up to an address I never had. I would never recommend this place.

In the heart of Burano, a younger and very vibrant island very close to Venice, this sprawling duplex suite was more like a luxury apartment than a hotel room. Loved the shared ground floor lounge as well. A newly-built property, it has all the mod-cons in a gorgeous old neighborhood. We found ourselves within east walking distance of Venissa, a stunning restaurant/bar/winery. It’s connected to Casa Burano as we dropped off the keys at the winery before catching a water taxi. There’s regular boat service between Burano and Venice as well.

Our staying at Casa Burano has been an unforgettable experience. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail and the professionalism, knowledge and friendliness of the staff is second to none. The fact that the rooms are located all over the island of Burano allows guest to truly experience local life.

Gorgeous place to stay away from the crowds of Venice, and yet so close. Room was beautiful and in very quiet neighbourhood although we could hear our neighbouring hotel guests. Highly recommend getting up and walking around Burano before the day trippers arrive ( at approx 930 am). It was a quick ferry ride (albeit busy) to see Venice for afternoon and dinner and then an amazing set set ferry ride back. Murano also beautiful but busier. Bellissimo stay.

Beautiful rooms with georgeous view. Excellent stuff who are always nice and helpfull. Delicious breakfast in a vineyard. We are coming here each year with pleasure. Best place for night romantic walks :)

Casa Burano was a highlight of our trip to Italy. The level of service and standard of accommodations exceeded our expectations. If you are thinking about visiting Burano, book a stay at Casa Burano - Venissa, you will not be disappointed! The rooms were spacious and well designed and we loved staying in the neighborhood of Burano. Such a cool experience!

I had the most wonderful stay at Casa Burano. I have stayed there twice and both times were incredible. I plan to return. The rooms were beautiful, the beds are super comfortable and the bed linens are divine - i had the best nights of sleep there. The entire team is fantastic, warm, kind, helpful, attentive and welcoming. Breakfast was included with my stay and was delicious. Burano is a beautiful small island and i really can't wait to come for another visit.

Really Enjoyed the stay. Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. Check-in was needed to be done in Mazzarbo, which is a sister island connected to Burano (Could be visited by walk via a small wooden bridge). It was so Magical I loved both colorful Burano & Mazzorbo. Breakfast was also located at Mazzorbo. Accomodation was verty central and had all required amenities nearby. Just a small tip, if you are looking to get out for dinner, do so at your earliest as restautants close early in Burano since alot of people visit Burano for a day and do not sleep overnight. Do yourself a favour and wander around at early mornings in Burano, you will definaltely thank me later.

We spent 2 nights on the island of Burano and stayed with Casa Burano in a lovely casa that was once a fisherman’s home. Burano is a small island with no cars. It is wonderful to walk the small roads and alleys and explore every inch of the island. We especially loved the early morning and evenings when the day trippers were gone and we had the island mostly to ourselves. It was one of the most relaxing places we have ever stayed.
