We absolutely loved this place. We stayed here on our way from Sydney to Melbourne so that we could visit the penguins, but this place turned out to be the highlight. We had had a long drive to get there and the instructions for arrival were very clear. As soon as we arrived at our cottage (plover cottage) we were welcomed by the owners to ensure that we had everything we needed . My stepson is disabled so they wanted to ensure he had everything he needed. We were asked if he would like to feed the animals the next morning which he did want to so arrangements were made. All the rooms were comfortable with facilities and there was a washing in the room which was very handy. We explored a bit of the farm and saw the animals which much to my delight included guinea pigs who are my absolute favourite! The next morning true to their word we went round on the farm vehicle feeding the animals which my stepson loved. I would recommend this to anyone staying in the area we were made to feel so welcome and if you have children they will absolutely love it. This is one of the stand out memories of our trip.

Absolutely loved our stay. We stayed in the studio and each morning opened our door to see all the goats 🐐😊. Our 2 year old had lots of fun feeding the animals and playing in the playground. The location is brilliant, only a few minutes drive to Cowes. We will be highly recommending to our friends (especially with kids!)

We are from Singapore and it was our first time staying at a farm. We stayed for 3 nights and had such great time. The moment we checked in, Michael and Dianne introduced us to the farm. Our kids were let loose. They love running after the free range guinea pigs (Yes they are not caged!), going inside the chicken pen to pet the chickens and just running around and jumping on the trampoline. Joining the farm tour is a MUST! We got to feed the animals and learnt a lot about them. Thank you Michael and Dianne for being such good host and providing us the opportunity to experience what farm stay is all about. Totally worth it!

This is the second time we came to Phillip Island, the late time was 10 years ago. So this time we try farm stay so our kids can get to stay near the farm animals. They love it. They get to know the animals as the staff will have a feeding session in the morning to introduce the animals. The room was okay as there was some issue with the toilet which cause some flooding. but was fixed in the end. Overall we enjoyed the stay.

We stayed at Hollydene and had a great time. The cottage was spacious, with 2 big toilets and 3 bedrooms (2 single trundle beds, 1 double bed, 1 double bed plus a single bed) . We enjoyed the morning animal feesing session a lot. Sally was super friendly and kind to children. She was patient and funny too. Kids also like the trampoline and playground a lot.

We booked a last minute family getaway for a much needed respite from the daily grind. This retreat is the perfect place for young and old to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We enjoyed walking a few meters from our cottage to be greeted by ponies, sheep and llamas. Other farm animals were only a short stroll away. The playground is 10/10 for children ages 2+... Even my brother and I had a few jumps on the trampoline! So many facilities and activities are on site but the main town of Cowes in only a 5 minute drive away to get your beach fix. We will be back again!

We had a great 3 night stay at Ripples n Tonic with our 3 children (ages 5,5 and 6) and grandparents. The play area is set up well and entertained my kids from first light until dark, we also used the communal kitchen one night for a bbq whilst the kids continued to play. The animal feeding each morning also kept us busy and entertained. The staff were all great! We stayed in Hollydean cottage and it was large, warm and well equipped. Location was good - just couple minutes drive to Ventnor beach and 10 mins from Cowes & Penguin parade. Seeing our children enjoy the outdoors and animals so much was priceless. If we lived closer we’d be regulars for sure! What a great place!

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved every minute. Our three bedroom apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Was wonderful hearing the animals in the morning. The owners are very welcoming and the staff were lovely showing us around the farm and getting to help feed the animals.

Highly rated hosts, unique place , my kids always enjoy staying in this peaceful environment. Well equipped clean cottages. Surrounded by all this beautiful and peaceful animals in a beautiful natural setting. We have stayed so many times and we will keep staying as often as we can !!!! Popi and Voula
