Agriturismo Speziale Wine Resort

We stayed here for 7 days and it was magical. The staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms were cleaned and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the pillows not too fluffy!! The access to Speziale Pelaverga every night was definitely my favourite part!! Breakfast was delicious. Freshly baked breads and treats, eggs cooked to order. The coffee choices were endless and perfect. We didnt think we would use the optional steam/spa facililites but after a long day of hiking around the vineyards of the Langhe area they were a welcome relief for our bodies. The days were around 30c so I braved the non heated pool - whoop that was cold! We loved coming home everyday after exploring the area to our balcony and some wine. The resort offered a beautiful outdoor seating area but we were happy and content on our balcony enjoying the peace and scenery. The staff were really helpful and answered my one thousand questions about everything. They were also able to make reservations for us at restaurants when my brain could no longer cope with my gibberish Italian. Everywhere they recommended was fantastic. Verduno is blessed with some truly amazing restaurants. Our only hiccup was the air conditioning. Our room was in the sun the whole time so it heated up during the day when the ac was off. This was fixed after the first day so all was good. Highly recommend this for anyone wanting a peaceful break.

A highlight to our trip. We spent four of the best days exploring and savouring this magical area. Our stay at the picturesque and totally gorgeous Speziale Wine Resort was exceptional with our hosts most attentive to our every need. We loved every minute!

Highly recommend! A beautiful resort. Small, intimate, but family friendly. The staff were kind and friendly. Rooms were clean and modern. Breakfast is amazing. Everything is fresh and locally sourced. They also offer an option to book a light lunch, which was great for our planned pool day. Several options in the village to walk to dinner. While having a car makes things easier to access, we visited without a car and arranged a private driver for touring and tasting.

This is a place to relax! What an atmosphere! The surroundings are stunning with a nice pool and sight of the valley. The rooms are clean and tasty furnished. Nice bed. I’ve never felt that welcome in a hotel before. The staff was extremely helpful, polite, positive and engaged in our wellbeing. Breakfast in a cosy and intimate room. Anna’s cakes, focaccia and other bakeries combined with tasty cheeses and salamies. I would really recommend this pearl of Verduno. We will be back!

Excellent location in a small village on top of a hill and surrounded by wine fields. The entire building, garden and pool area is very new and modern. The service is friendly and welcoming - the staff even helped making dinner reservations (which should not be forgotten in the busy months of summer).

Das Speziale Wine Resort ist ein wunderbarer Ort, den wir 100% weiterempfehlen können. Von der ersten Minute an fühlt man sich dort total wohl. Die Betreiber und alle Mitarbeiter sind Gastgeber, die für die Sache leben und einen tollen Service bieten. Das Hotel ist ganz neu und verfügt über einen hohen Standard. Die Außenanlagen sind schön angelegt. Es gibt einen Pool, Jacuzzi und einen Wellnessbereich mit Sauna, Aromadusche und Dampfbad. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet mit super bequemen Betten. (Es gibt einen besonderen Topper und 2 verschiedene Kissen mit unterschiedlichen Härtegraden zur Auswahl.) Das Bad verfügt über eine Regendusche und Bidet. Die Handtücher werden auf Wunsch täglich gewechselt und für den Spa Bereich gibt es Bademäntel. Das Frühstück war super mit allem, was man braucht. Es gab jeden Tag hausgemachtes Focaccia und Kuchen. Dazu Joghurt, Obst, Müsli, Aufschnitt, Käse, Crepe und Eierspeisen. Man kann entweder auf der Terrasse oder in einem schönen Innenbereich Frühstücken. Beim Hotel sind kostenlose Parkplätze dabei, außerdem gibt es direkt gegenüber weitere kostenlose Parkplätze der Gemeinde. Man kann auch sein Elektroauto laden. Das Hotel hat kein eigenes Restaurant, die Mitarbeiter stehen für Restaurantempfehlungen- und Reservierungen zur Verfügung. In einem Umkreis von 10 Minuten ums Hotel gibt es mehrere ausgezeichnete Lokale. Was wir empfehlen können, ist die Führung mit Weinprobe im hauseigenen Weingut. Alles in allem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und möchten auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit bei euch, liebe Katia, Serena und Gabriel.
