Maui Palms

To say this holiday was beautiful, would be an understatement. What an amazing experience! Our stay was the ultimate in rest and relaxation, with just enough adventure. You can do as much or as little as you please. From coconut demonstrations, basket weaving, snorkelling in crystal clear water and reef walks to just laying by one of the two pools or just swaying in a hammock with a good book. Plenty of tours to book if you want to. Biausevu Village and Waterfall with Taika was great! The food is lovely as are the cocktails. The staff were wonderful. Huge thanks to Chris, Norman, Litti, Taika and Aku for simply being the beautiful people that they are and for welcoming us to their piece of paradise, making us feel more like family than guests. We will definitely return

During our two-week trip exploring Fiji's mainland and island resorts, Maui Palms truly stood out. Among the five different mainland resorts we experienced, it was easily one of the best. We were so impressed, we canceled a reservation elsewhere to extend our stay by three more days! The rooms look wonderfully designed , and the staff, led by Chris, are incredibly friendly and proactive under his professional management.

From the moment we arrived and slipped into “Fiji time,” we knew this trip was going to be something special. The journey to Maui Palms was smooth and well organised, and stepping onto the property felt like entering a real-life paradise, lush palms, turquoise waters, and that warm, welcoming island breeze. What really surprised us were the daily activities offered. We loved connecting with Fijian culture through hands-on experiences, plus there were reef walks, amazing snorkeling, and plenty of water sports that kept our kids entertained and thrilled. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation for the whole family. If you love nature, this place is a dream come true. Coral just steps from the beach, bird songs at sunrise, and quiet spots everywhere to unwind and soak it all in. The team at Maui Palms were genuinely friendly and helpful communication was easy, and everything ran effortlessly. You can tell they care about making your stay special. If you’re looking for a peaceful tropical getaway where nature, culture, and genuine hospitality come together, don’t hesitate to book Maui Palms. We can’t recommend it enough! we are telling all our friend and anyone who asks how our holiday was.

The Maui Palms was our first hotel that we visited on our Fiji trip and it completely convinced us, outstanding service, very dedicated staff who read every wish from your lips without being intrusive. The food and drink selection was great, there is something for every taste! The complex itself is tastefully and sustainably designed, you feel at home here from the second you arrive. The rooms are also very sustainably furnished, the furniture, for example, is mostly made of Fiji coconut wood and looks great! Everything in the room was very clean and functional :) Only the bed was a bit too soft for our taste, but that's a matter of taste. All in all, I would recommend everyone to spend a few nice days here and let the Fiji lifestyle take effect on you. There is something new to discover here every day if you want to.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Maui Palms in August for five nights, and it was nothing short of amazing. A big thank you to Wayne and Christine, and to Chris, the resort host, who truly made our stay unforgettable. Chris was incredible – we especially miss his thoughtful WhatsApp messages every morning asking what we would like for breakfast. Such a personal touch made us feel so welcome and cared for. The apartment itself was generous in size, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The view was absolutely beautiful – the kind you never get tired of waking up to. The swimming pool was stunning, the staff were consistently warm and friendly, and the on-site restaurant exceeded expectations with excellent food and service every time. Maui Palms ticked every box for us: location, comfort, hospitality, and quality. We will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!

Review Desperate to get away from the New Zealand winter, there were so many options - Bali, Fiji, Raro, Samoa, Niue. A good problem to have sure, but if you’re anything like us, plagued with indecision, trust us when we say Maui palms on the coral coast of Fiji is the way to go. The staff are outstanding. Literally everyone was so kind and warm and nothing was too much - Aku, Taika, Chris, Katie, Sonali, Tricia - we totally felt at home. The pools were lovely, the location was incredible. The chefs never missed - every meal was delicious. The resort opens out onto a lagoon, with two pools to choose from. Plenty of easily accessible activities like kayaking, snorkeling and paddle boarding. A guided reef walk or hike. The resort has a very personal feel to it. Its compact. With only a handful of villas. At times it feels like you have it to yourself. If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday and a real taste of Fiji. Maui Palms is the place for you.
