Excelente hotel, quartos fantásticos e enormes, pequeno almoço fabuloso.

Ein sehr stilvolles Hotel. Sehr schöne Architektur inmitten alter, komplett renovierter Bausubstanz. Das Hotel fällt in der historische Straße fast nicht auf. Sehr nettes personal, gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Außerdem toller Infinity Pool auf dem Dach. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die zentrale Lage des Hotels. Sehr empfehlenswert für einen Aufenthalt in Viana do Castello.

Was here with family in Jun 2024. This is a nice place to live in the beautiful town of Viana do Castello. Close to everything - attractions, shopping, dining, waterfront etc al The two girls at the font office were super caring and efficient. They went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. They were proud of their town and wanted us to experience it all. Paid parking is plentiful across the road. Breakfast was ok. They also explain why the hotel is named Flag Design and why room numbers are replaced with flags. Viana do Castello is a beautiful place with kind people and lots to see. Food is reasonable and everything is I short drive away.

Unfortunately this time our experience was quite unpleasant. We stayed here with our family last March and enjoyed the experience so much that now upon returning to Viana, we did not hesitate when it came to choosing the place to stay. Unfortunately we were given a room on the ground floor next to the breakfast room and in the corridor that accesses the reception. This is their accessible room and in my opinion should not be rented as a regular room. Guests should be informed of its location and even have it at a reduced rate. We booked the room and paid full high season price because it was a long weekend. Besides hearing the incessant noise of the exterior a/c machines all night ,we also woke up to cutlery and dishes clanking around 6:30am. When we told the front desk how disappointed we were no solution was presented. Not a discount or any other type of attempt to compensate someone who was so visibly disappointed with their stay. We will not return or recommend the hotel anymore. T

The new Flag Design Hotel is conveniently situated in the very attractive historic centre of Viana do Castelo. The accommodation is comfortable with good quality bedding. There is a lovely roof terrace with pool that looks out over the roofs of the town and nearby hills. There is also free use of a sauna. The hotel has a great team - Reception staff and Housekeeping, all of whom are extremely helpful and pleasant. The breakfast is good and there is parking close by.

Beautiful hotel, incredible room, Lovell service and such a spread for breakfast! I can only imagine this hotel will increase its prices once established as it’s really too cheap for how great it is. I had a lovely bath with a view. The kind man at the reception desk went out first thing and bought me a banana (as Id mentioned I could have one instead of breakfast as I needed to leave earlier). Turns out they prepared breakfast and got the banana 😅 All in all, amazing stay and cannot recommend it highly enough! Thank you for making me feel so comfortable

Hotel muito bem decorado e confortável. Escondido no centro de Viana do Castelo uma pequena surpresa, um hotel 4 estrelas de aspeto exterior industrial num prédio aparentemente pequeno, mas dividido por 2 partes e muito bem decorado internamente. Quartos de boa qualidade e casas de banho muito amplas e ao nível de um hotel de 5 estrelas. Decoração interior com características de prédio antigo, mas muito bem renovado e recuperado. Tv do quarto ampla. Não há máquina de café no quarto e o black out da janela de madeira não tapa completamente a luz. A sala de pequeno almoço é agradável, mas a qualidade da refeição, talvez por ainda corresponder a época baixa e a ocupação do hotel não parecia elevada, havia falta de vários produtos. Ainda assim, não é difícil de melhorar. Vale a pena passar a oferecer ovos mexidos e/ou outros quentes, mais ofertas de sumos incluindo sumo de laranja natural. Ausência de estacionamento próprio também é uma desvantagem mas existem várias opções nas proximidades incluindo parque público subterrâneo mesmo em frente ao hotel e que funciona 24h. Caminhando um pouco é possível estacionar de forma gratuita. A qualidade/preço do hotel é muito ajustada ao que é disponibilizado, equivalendo em vários aspetos de qualidade e conforto do quarto o que oferece o Axis Viana Hotel mas a um custo inferior.

Mitten im Zentrum befindet sich das Hotel, dass sowohl einen schönen alten Teil besitzt(das Treppenhaus und das Oberlicht und die Stuckdecken sind spektakulär) als auch im neuen Teil tolle Zimmer. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Frühstücksangebot war reichhaltig und vielfältig. Wer mit dem Auto anreist, findet Platz in der Tiefgarage. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet und thematisch nach Wassersportarten benannt und mit Fotos eingerichtet. Ein schönes Bad und kleine Aufmerksamkeiten des Hotels für den Gast runden den tollen Eindruck ab. Eine klare Empfehlung.

Hotel bastante céntrico en una calle semipeatonal, acceso con coche complicado por que es difícil estacionar para dejar o recoger el equipaje. Recepción ridículamente pequeña para ser un hotel de cuatro estrellas. No disponen de parking pero tienen un concierto con uno a unos cien metros por un precio razonable. Habitación pequeña con todo pequeño, armario, mesita etc, con lo que se hacía difícil colocar cualquier bulto y estamos hablando de un cuatro estrellas. Las camas, la ropa de cama todo de buena calidad y buenos colchones por lo que se descansaba bien. El baño amplio y con todos los complementos para el aseo necesarios, buenas toallas, se echa en falta un espejo de aumento accesible por que los que hay están colocados en las ventanas y con el lavabo de por medio se hace difícil arreglarse si no se tiene buena vista. Desayuno buffet correcto, se echa en falta algo de comida caliente.
