Victoria Falls Safari Lodge

Despite the price was a tad steep, everything was excellent during our trip. The driver of free shuttle service was so attentive to introduce each stop snd reminded the pick up time on our way to Victoria Falls. Room itself was small yet clean with spectacular waterhole view. Shortfall was our room was too far from the waterhole itself. Nonetheless their service and breakfast were of top notch and view from the restaurant was unbeatable. What a mesmerizing stay!

My family of 4 stayed at one of the suites and it exceeded all expectation. The rooms were clean, roomy, well appointed, great thick towels, beds were very comfortable and the AC worked very well considering the heat. The breakfast at the nail lodge was buffet style and had a great variety. Pool was clean and refreshingly cool. The staff were exceptional in every way. I would highly recommend staying at one of their family suites.

It isn’t often that I’m over-the-top, blown away by a resort, but this place was AMAZING!! Beautifully set among the wildlife, this place has it all - gorgeous rooms, incredible dining, a watering hole that attracts elephants & much mor, and the friendliest, most accommodating staff ever!!! I wish we could have stayed longer and will DEFINITELY return!!!

The most beautiful accomodation with the most impressive look out! Highlights included a herd of elephants waking down to the waterhole while we were in the pool. The staff were very hospitable and friendly, and the food was great! A group of men serenaded diners by harmonising along to african songs - it was a beautiful moment. It was a great experience having a drink and a meal whilst overlooking the waterhole and being surprised at what animals you might see.

Perfect base for exploring Victoria Falls region including Chobe, Zambia, Zambezi. Excellent accommodations - air conditioning, powerful showers, good restaurants, great service with views of a waterhole graced by elephants and many others.

I chose Victoria Falls Safari Club based upon the recommendation of one of my favorite YouTube travel channels (Kara and Nate). I am so happy I did, as I don’t think the stay could have been any better. I was debating between the regular rooms and the club rooms, but the club rooms were the only ones available during that time I was going to be there; I ended up very pleased with my stay. Every staff member in the Safari Club was extremely friendly, and they quickly learned my name, providing very personalized service. The food was amazing (I really loved the Kudu steaks!). While at the property, I went to the Boma Dinner Show, which was very entertaining, and the food was all delicious; I was especially impressed with the endurance it clearly took for the dancers to perform their acts. The front desk staff at the Club helped me book a wonderful combo land/river day-safari in Botswana, organizing the transportation, etc., which made it very convenient. The location of three Safari Club allowed for a great deal of wildlife viewing, both from my assigned room, and from the viewing decks near the restaurant (where I also saw some of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen!). The Club was also helpful in organizing transportation for me to go see Victoria Falls, as well as my airport transfers. The spa at the Safari Club was just opening when I was there; while I didn’t have enough time in my itinerary to experience one of their massages, I am looking forward to including enough time for that when I return. The facilities at the spa looked amazing, and it seems like the perfect way to enjoy maximum relaxation in one of the best atmospheres possible. My stay at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge was the highlight of my trip through Africa, and I cannot wait to return for another stay!

The hotel was clean, has a wonderful vulture show at 1pm where they feed the vultures, great view of a watering hole and staff is excellent. Housekeeping came into the room every evening pulled the mosquito netting around the bed and sprayed the room. We did have a few issues. We made reservations for dinner at the restaurant and when we arrived we were told they did not get have the reservation. My husband told the bar manager who said she would handle it and I was at the bar when she was handling the reservation. I suspect that they did not lose our reservation but could not honor it for other reasons. I certainly was not happy about that. They also did not have reservations for a another party that was also traveling with us. The a/c is adequate and the key is to turn on the a/c and the ceiling fan. I would suggest to have laundry done somewhere else as there was a "grease spot" on a shirt that was returned from laundry. I was able to remove the spot with soap and water. Additionally we were there with a tour and another couples luggage on our tour ended up on the wrong bus even though it was properly labeled. Very nice hotel but has some caveats.

Very comfortable room and good facilities throughout. Staff extremely pleasant and welcoming. Nothing at all to complain about. So near the Victoria Falls National Park which we walked round with our tour manager and guide who were both very knowledgeable. Also did a river trip and that showed a different side of things.

We stayed at this lodge for 4 nights at the end of May as part of a tour. The staff are helpful and friendly and the restaurant service is excellent . The rooms are what we expected and were fine, very rustic but practical for the stay with mosquito nets over the bed . Lovely views over the water hole and within easy reach of the Victoria Falls and Victoria Falls Airport. Well recommended.
