Couldn’t fault the hotel. We booked the triple room ( for two ), it was big and very comfortable All staff ( reception, breakfast staff, cleaners ) were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast had ample choices and was plentiful. The staff kept replenishing the whole time we were there I wouldn’t hesitate booking this hotel if/when we return to Vienna

This hotel is very well situated for the sights of Vienna. The staff are very helpful. They organised a taxi for me and have help each day with pointing me in the right direction and navigating maps. The facilities are very good. The room is super clean and everything is provided. Breakfast includes everything and is arranged buffet style in a pleasant room. The old lift is a highlight!

Plainish, central hotel near the Rathaus. Tram line 2 has a stop (stop Rathaus) c 100 metres away - at the time of writing the nearest Metro line (station Rathaus) is closed for reconstruction. Unless you are young, fit and short of cash I would suggest taking the tram if coming from the main railways station. Breakfasts are plentiful with a wide variety and even if you have a room on the lower floors its worth having a trip in the very ornate lift. from the hotel its possible to walk to all the city centre sites although after a long day Tramline 2 - which you can pick up by the river is a godsend for tired feet. Hotel was v quiet. Note reception is only manned until 1800 - if arriving after this you will need to make a phone call.

It is currently 3 am and me and my sister are on the way to another hotel because we found bed bugs. Absolutely disgusting especially for a hotel that is rated highly for cleanliness. I will be absolutely furious if we do not get a refund. This is absurd and has absolutely wrecked our travel plans. We just spend 450 extra €€ on this new hotel that is further away. I am angry out of my mind. Do not go here, spend the extra tiny amount of money to go somewhere MUCH MUCH better.

great hotel close to city hall and Christmas Markets. Breakfast excellent and elevator giving experience of living in a luxury building in the 1920's. Stayed for 2 nights and near public transportation and great restaurants so was a great choice for first trip to Vienna

I booked last minute for a one night trip to the city. The hotel is only around a 10-15 min walk from the Hofburg, I have no idea if there are metro stops thereabouts as I like walking. It’s a clean, friendly, comfortable establishment. The rooms are very well appointed and I certainly had a good nights sleep. I was facing a courtyard so it was very quiet but the street (Buchfeldgasse) is a quiet street anyway and I’d say the front facing rooms will be quite peaceful too. The Inclusive breakfast had a wide selection and there was plenty of it. In my opinion it was very good value for money, if I had one comment I would ask that the rooms be more blacked out, it got very light very quickly in the morning.

A very unique hotel located on a side street that was in a walking distance to several large Christmas Markets. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and they offered a nice breakfast every morning that had various cheeses, meats, breads and fruits. My room was a bit chilly for me and I couldn’t regulate the heater but there was plenty of down comforters to keep me warm. Overall, a nice place.

This was our second visit to this hotel, it is full of old charm, including a very old lift with a seat. The location is great, just a short walk to the museum quarter of Vienna, where you can visit the National history museum or one of the many other museums there, get the hop on, hop off bus for sightseeing, or easily access a tram. There are lots of local bars and restaurants around, with great food at a fraction of the price that you would pay in the main tourist areas. The team are friendly and welcoming. I am sure we will be back for a 3rd visit sometime soon.

The position is very good. The hotel is just outside the city center, in a calm neighboorhood; nearby there are serveral tram stops and, just a little bit farther, a metro station. The breakfast is absolutely great and you have great choice both of salty and sweet things. The owner is great and, although the check-in is available only until 6pm, if you arrive late they will leave the keys in the key box outside the hotel. The hotel is clean and I would surely get back there in case I went back to Vienna. The room is a bit small, especially after adding a third bed for the kid, but it is no problems if you're like me and use the hotel just to sleep :)
