Finca Victoria

We stayed in The Invisible Treehouse and had the BEST time! The grounds and scenery were well kept and made for a stunning experience. Staff was all very welcoming, and I can’t say enough about the breakfasts…the chefs were outstanding. This place is geared towards relaxation, and we left feeling just that. Also in a great secluded location, but close enough to the beaches and restaurants that you aren’t needing to travel far.

Why not go? The retreat is a sanctuary of tranquility, contributing to a deep sense of well-being. It is a perfect escape from the daily stress of reality. I had a transformative experience for body, mind, and soul with such a great atmosphere, mesmerizing sunset, delicious breakfast, and excellent customer service. (Mind you, this is not a paid promotion; I just really LOVE IT.) I enjoyed talking to Luis Ocasio (Host) throughout my stay such a beautiful human being and kind. He created a wow moment for my birthday that I didn’t expect. Also, if you are looking for an exceptional massage, ask for Monica Cassanova (@cocoshakti); I highly recommend her. I also spoke with Casey; she was lovely, with great outfits and attentive to details. The only thing I miss was the pastries and the prep-meals they had daily, but there’s an alternative at their sister property, La Botanica Hotel, San Juan. I truly enjoyed my time at Finca Victoria and look forward to returning and celebrating my birthday each year. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much, Sylvia De Marco, for creating such a spectacular place. It was a perfect getaway filled with tremendous peace.

What a special place! Each suite is different; we stayed in the "invisible treehouse" with two floors, an outdoor shower and an outdoor kitchen set into the rainforest. Sitting on the deck in the evenings listening to the insects of the forest was one of my favorite things. Breakfasts were intricate and delicious concoctions made from local produce whenever possible. The common areas were welcoming and staff so friendly. Morning yoga was great. I wish I could have stayed for weeks. Of course noplace can be absolutely perfect, so here are a few things to note: Paths are uneven, not always well lit at night and can get muddy. Our cabin was floor-to-ceiling windows and TBH they were pretty dirty; the invisible treehouse is also close enough to the main kitchen that we could hear the cooks' conversations and they could hear ours when we were on our deck. If vegan, dinner-like breakfast food isn't your thing you might not enjoy the breakfasts. The coffee was not great quality and they added cinnamon and cardamom which just didn't do it for me in coffee. (We ended up making our own at our treehouse with their provided supplies.) But all of these are quite minor compared to the experience of staying immersed in the rainforest.

Finca Victoria exceeded my expectations. My friend and I went for a weekend, celebrating our birthdays. We stayed in the Tiny Treehouse which was delightful. The grounds are beautiful and the environment is serene. We had massages, practiced yoga, and enjoyed the delicious breakfast included in the stay. Everyone working there is extremely nice and help. If you looking for a truly magical experience, this is it!

Finca Victoria is a gorgeous unique place to stay. The staff is thoughtful, helpful and warm. It is artistically designed and decorated to create comfort, beauty, coziness and peace. Breakfasts/ brunches are healthy and delicious, presented with great imagination and taste. Guests can enjoy coffee and locally prepared herbal tea any time. Rooms and common spaces are maintained clean and tidy.

While visiting Vieques recently, I decided to treat myself to a long overdue massage. I'm so glad that I did. Definitely one the best that I have had. Monica was terrific!!! The setting was so peaceful. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself.
