This is not a 4 star hotel.you get 1 bottle of water in your fridge.coffee capsules extra when you have drunk them.food nearly the same every night.have to go to bar every time you want a drink.rooms very dated shower average at best.this is a 3 star hotel at best.

A Truly Fantastic Getaway at ROBINSON Quinta da Ria We had an absolutely wonderful time at ROBINSON Quinta da Ria—it was truly a fantastic escape from reality. We were deeply impressed by the quietness, peaceful atmosphere, and overall comfort of the resort. It provided exactly the kind of rest and relaxation we needed. Our days were spent enjoying the beach truck with its breathtaking view, which quickly became one of our favorite spots. Evenings were all about indulging in delicious food and wine, especially at the Pousada specialty restaurant—what an exceptional culinary experience! The service throughout our stay was outstanding. A huge thank you to Matthias and Telmo for their warm hospitality and for making our visit so special. The front office team was incredibly friendly and always ready to help—thank you, Sara, for your excellent work. We also appreciated the lovely conversations and attentive care from Jonathan in Guest Relations—thank you for always being there. A heartfelt thank you to Monique for arranging a surprise for us—it meant a lot and made our stay even more memorable. Aderito, your salmon and burgers were amazing! And to the entire Food & Beverage team, thank you for your great service. A special shoutout to João for the wonderful red wine recommendation—it was fantastic. This resort is truly a gem, and if we get the chance, we will definitely be coming back. One important thing to add: I’m not a golf player, but this vacation was so incredible that I’m now even considering trying it, especially after watching the other guests' enthusiasm and seeing the stunning golf courses. Stayed in the resort for a short golf break and the food drink service and facilities were superb! Staff couldn't do enough for you and although residents were mainly German, 12 golfers from England always felt at home. Can't wait to return.

We are just nearing the end of our 10 day stay here, we have had a wonderful holiday, yes its 90% german citizens here and TUI should probably make that clearer when booking but part of me is glad they didnt as it may have made me book somewhere else, i have attended fitness classes in german but the staff made every effort to explain things to me in english and i enjoyed them just as much, my husband joined the tennis tournament and he had a great time, the german people he played with all spoke good english and they were laughing and joking together, my kids made some good friends too. The silent disco was wondeful having 3 channels on the headset, german, english and house music, it was so much fun. The bands and robins singers in the evening have been great. I havent struggled to get a table in the evening, in fact we have got the same table every night and our waiters have been wonderful. The food is world class and fresh. I was dubious about coming all inclusive as we normally go on villa holidays, but we have had the best time and wish we could stay longer. This is definately a 5 star resort, if you are booking just go with the flow their isnt really a language barrrier if you just put in the effort to speak to people. Just home from a weeks holiday in the Robinsons Quinta Da Ria. This is a very nice hotel in a fabulous location. The hotel rooms whilst a little dated are always very well cleaned daily. Food options, availability and service was excellent although perhaps more catered to adults as opposed to kids. As per other reviews there is a bit of a rampage for tables especially in the evenings and it is a pity this couldn’t be better organised. The wooden veranda flooring is questionable as the gaps did allow for a few wee visitors from the food droppings! The disappointment in this holiday was the limitations for English speaking nationals especially for the children. We had very limited awareness of what was happening on a daily basis as notifications were primarily in German/Portuguese and a little detail in English..our young children were never acknowledged or recognised or encouraged to participate. We were not offered a personal tour on arrival but again very notable in the following days how others were. We also requested a bag lift from room in morning but my husband ended up taking all our bags by himself to the waiting transfer. We certainly sensed not all guests treated the same. There was a lady doing ‘one in one’ swimming lessons in pool and whilst we stood with our 3 year old playing by steps she swam in between us showing no regard for our space or respect for us in the pool. To the point the child she was teaching was hitting our child with her noodle! Very strange behaviour it was honestly like we were invisible and we had been there quite a while at this stage. Most disappointing and certainly a massive area of concern was the tiles in the kids pool..on the first day our 3 yr old was playing on her knees in shallow end -with buckets etc and when she got up scraped the front of her foot very badly. This information was shared with rep and there was no follow up. Tavira is a beautiful holiday destination which we were lucky to visit, Robinsons is certainly rated as one of thee best places to stay in the area but it is important to note which we hadn’t realised it’s not necessarily for all nationalities or groups.

Our family of three spent a lovely 2 weeks at this hotel at the beginning of June. Facilities were spotlessly clean, food was great, little baby pool was useful (although very cold) and the staff were friendly. As others have mentioned, this is a German resort, therefore everything is catered towards this. Most of the staff could speak good English, but we did struggle with the language barrier a couple of times. We found this hotel good for our 18 month old as it had a nice pool and kids club where we could use the facilities (books, huge sand pit, drawing etc). The hotel also provided a baby package in our room free of charge which was a nice touch. This included a small bath, bottle warmer and changing mat. Major downside was the dinner meal time (7:30pm) and huge rush to get a table to ourselves when dinner opened. We found this really stressful and it was clear that people did not want to sit on a shared table. With a baby, we felt very awkward having to intrude on other people’s dinners. It is also very late for children to eat. We tried the early child meal (5:30pm), but this was successful as it meant that our baby had to sit through our mealtime afterwards. It would have been much easier if we could have all eaten at the earlier time. Other families faced the same issue - management please consider moving dinner slightly earlier for families. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but I wouldn’t return with older children. I feel they would find it hard to utilise a kids club where everyone else is speaking German. P.S - we stayed in room 121 which was great. Ground floor which was good for the pram and on a corner south/ west facing looking onto golf course.
