Quinta Do Moinho de Vento - Racket & Country Club - Duna Parque Resorts & Hotels

We recently cycled from Lisbon to the Algarve and the company we cycled with (Cycling Rentals - century cycles) put us up in this lovely hotel in this beautiful town. Our room was at the back looking over the gardens. It had a little terrace. The room was spacious and the bed very comfy. The only issue was it had no kettle and being English we’d brought our teabags along for our morning and afternoon cuppa! We were told that there were no kettles to lend us (every other hotel we had been on our trip happily provided us with one to the room or the rooms already had them in!) We we’re told that we could use the shared kettle that was in the main building upstairs on a landing. We dutifully did that and had to trek through the hotel with our hot cups of tea. We are partial to a camomile tea at bedtime but couldn’t even get in to use this ‘shared kettle’ because they lock all the doors at 9 (even the bar closes early too) so unless you had a room in that building you could not go in to use the kettle. Strange. Maybe they need to think about investing in a kettle for the rooms OR providing a kettle for each section that is accessible and not locked by 9 pm! Shame the bar closes, we’d have enjoyed an after dinner drink there - they are missing a trick! Nice little pool out front of the hotel and the staff who do the breakfast, the cleaning and all the laundry were just lovely. The guy on reception was helpful up to a point but just seemed a bit aloof! The town of VN de Milfontes is lovely and the hotel is well situated and you can walk everywhere. Make sure you go to the beach bar for sundowners and the most delicious grilled fish!

A nice, clean hotel with good reception, clean facilities, and friendly staff. Arrived on a Sunday evening, ahead of a 2 week walking holiday, had a long journey to get there from Northern Europe, and enjoyed a quiet evening there. Sadly, the bar only had 1 bottle of beer left, at 6pm, so that was a little disappointing.

We had a fantastic 2 nights stay at Quinta Do Vento, the accommodation is first class and the staff are excellent. It's a lovely, tranquil setting for a short or long break. Marta gave us a very warm welcome, recommending restaurants and giving us information about Milfontes. She even gave us a nice lesson to help us with our Portuguese. We will certainly return.

Nette kleine Unterkunft mit Frühstück. Alles sehr persönlich, sauber und zuvorkommend. Pool zum abkühlen ist völlig ausreichend nach gemachten Ausflügen. Liegt erwas versteckt und deswegen schön ruhig. Empfehlenswert, auch für längeren Aufenthalt.

Alojamento muito calmo e limpo. Staff muito simpático. Pequeno almoço também muito bom. Espaço exterior bem cuidado e muito agradável.A repetir!

Superou as expectativas! Apartamento agradável com o necessário para descansar uns dias. Localizado fora da confusão mas de fácil acesso ao centro. Piscina exterior, relvado e court de ténis. Excelente pequeno almoço! Sem dúvida a repetir.

Prima volta in vita mia che mi trovo in un hotel dove fanno il check in a partire dalle ore 16. Ci rechiamo in struttura alle 16:30 (quindi 30 minuti dopo l'ora di inizio check in) e il receptionist, pur vedendoci arrivare con auto e valigie, si va placidamente a fare una passeggiatina lasciando la reception totalmente vuota. Suoniamo il campanello sul bancone e non arriva nessuno per altri 10 minuti. Scortesia ai massimi livelli. La camera è dotata di un "balcone" talmente ridicolo (sarà profondo 60 cm, una persona col 46 di scarpe non riesce a starci) da non poter nemmeno fumare una sigaretta. Prezzi alti, qualità scarsa. Le camere sono poco insonorizzate e per tutto il pomeriggio siamo stati disturbati dal pianto incessante di un bambino capriccioso. Il bagno è improponibile: piastrelle rotte, asciugapelli da piscina anni'90 che si surriscalda talmente tanto da non riuscire più a tenerlo in mano dopo 3 minuti di utilizzo. La lampada e il termosifone con molta ruggine e le tende sporche all'inverosimile con copiose tracce di muffa. L'unica nota positiva è che ci siamo fermati solo 1 notte. Sconsiglio, in zona si trova ben di meglio a prezzi più contenuti

Espaço muito agradável, sem luxos desnecessários, com um atendimento muito simpático e cuidado. Tudo muito limpo e cuidado, incluindo a área envolvente aos edifícios. A piscina estava muito convidativa, apesar da temperatura não ajudar… Mas estivemos quase. Gostámos muito e contamos voltar em breve.
