Residence Club l'Etoile des Sybelles

This is the best place to spend a winter break. Very good accomodation a lot of things to do and very high quality of the apartament.

Nice and clean apartments, good location, everything closeby. Swimming pool much appreciated by our children. We were here with 5 families and it's a perfect choice to be all together but also a bit in our own 'home'

The location is great: ski in - ski out; you have warm locker for your ski equipment; staff is very polite; accomodation is excellent - clean and modern with all necessary things - toaster, coffee machine, hairdryer, oven, microwave, dishwasher...everything. Every night there were some kind of social activities in the hotel reception space. There is shopping centre in the basement of the residence.

Overall we're happy with the hotel, staff and the location. Some absolutely increadible views that you just can't get enough of! Walls are really thin, may need to talk to your upstairs neighbours like we did to sort the noise out. It's nice, new, clean - just feels budget.. Spa is nice during quiet times. Really small sauna and hammam. would not come back because of the overcrowded slopes. Huuuuuuge number of beginners on all slopes, especially blue. Great for families with little kids, looked like ski school has amazing facilities for beginners.

Great location, positioned right on the ski slopes, practically a ski-in / ski-out, a few metres from Sybelles Express ski lift, which takes you to the top of the "Le Corbier" part of the ski resort. It's a new building, modern and stylish concept, rooms are big, comfortable and well equipped, with a fireplace as an added bonus to improve evening ambience. In addition, you have access to the pool and spa area, which are great for after ski relax, although the finnish sauna could use a bit of attention, as the sand hour is missing and at certain times it was not warm enough), but overall a great experience. As others said, it seems like the floors are wooden, so it may be a little noisy, if you have neigbours on top, but not a serious issue, apart from that I cannot find any negatives. Last, but the best of all, the animation team. Although we were reluctant to attend initial events due to not speaking French, we would be sorry to miss the pool party, the ping pong tournament and the amazing Cleopatra show. The three animators really did an incredible job to make our evenings exciting, all credits to them and their talents. These events should be more promptly advertised as not many people attended them, which was shame as the team put all this effort in them. The management should consider adding the calendar in the elevators or a paper copy on check-in. Overall it's a great place next to an enormous ski area, so definitely a place to be and worth spending a bit more on this rather than opting for appartments in the other buildings, which are from the 70's and a quick walk through their lobbies will quickly show you why MMV is worth it. I recommend and definitely will come back!

Excellent staff, great location. Our only negative was the reception being closed on arrival which we were not expecting (we arrived on a Sunday afternoon). This meant we were stuck on the ground floor, outside with a 20 month old toddler and my husband, full time wheelchair user. Fortunately we found other guests who let us in eventually and had the rest of our 2 hour wait indoors at least! Otherwise we had a brilliant stay, reception staff were most helpful, especially when my husband had a puncture in his wheelchair, staff provided a repair kit personally and wouldn't take any payment when offered. Our apartment was adapted to be suitable for a wheelchair user, the wet room was ideal and also had a sperate bathroom (apartment 406). MMV also provided a cot, high chair and baby bath at no extra charge. Level access out to the balcony. Ideal location for skiing (although limited snow in March 24 meant a short walk rather than technical ski to the door!)
