Location: the hotel was in a great location, within walking distance of the bus stop, restaurants. Room: spacious, well equipped; however, the heating could not be controlled properly, even with the thermostat turned off the room was hot. Food: not of the quality you would expect from a 4 star hotel - for dinner they certainly provide a buffet of fried/cooked mirelite dishes, the taste of which was in some way objectionable (e.g. the food was either salty or unsalted; the soup was dilute etc.), all in all with a small selection. Wellness: basically well equipped, but the staff there were rather unfriendly. Massage: a rip-off - we booked a simple back massage (HUF 8,000 /person), the masseuse offered the oil for a 25 minute relax massage without any extra information. It was only afterwards that we saw on the invoice - which we almost had to beg to be sent 4 days after we had checked out - that the service was charged at HUF 9,000 / person. Staff: they were relatively nice on the spot, but after a complaint on the phone they put the blame on the guests (the hotel said "the prices are displayed everywhere", yet the staff failed to inform us that the massage oil was not included in the service, meaning that the massage would be charged at a higher price). In summary: we spent 2 nights at the hotel, left with a bitter taste in our mouths: on a scale of 5 I would give it a 2, but due to the financial loss, the poor information given to guests and the poor complaints handling by staff, I would not recommend the place.
