Hotel Olympia Sky

Only been here less than 24 hours and I hate this place. They are rude to everyone that isn't Croatian, they are abrupt once complaint too..no customer service whatsoever. Location isn't great as the nearest bus or taxi is 10 mins walk. They expect everyone to drive so if you dont drive dont come here as its too much of an inconvenience. I don't drink coffee and only coffee available in the room, no bin(there is 1 small one in the bathroom but no one in the bedroom. Restaurant opens at 7pm and it was rammed. It was like a school dinning hall and I suffer from anxiety. Was refused to take good upstairs unless it was room service which I would have to pay extra for. I paid alot of money for this hotel and the only thing worth the money is the views and the room. This is my first time visiting Croatia and i will not be coming back here again.

It's a stunning hotel, a very unique building. We enjoyed our stay, but the bed was very uncomfortable. We booked a queen size bed, but it end up being 2 small mattresses on one bed that had a cap in between. As a couple, we did not enjoy the sleep. Best part of the stay was breakfast buffet, food was amazing

4 star hotel? Don’t think so. The staff is very friendly at the reception. And to me - that’s the only positive thing. The room needs renovation and the food is pretty bad for this type of hotel. We also payed extra for a crib for our baby. That should be free of charge.

We were looking forward to our stay at this hotel. Our room was ok with a Seaview as per booking. However we had to ask for a kettle in the first instance. There was no information about the hotel services ie in dining amongst other things. The TV channels were mostly German so we were stuck. No BBC or sky or any English channels whatsoever. We were in a half board basis. The restaurant was packed with guests from our hotel and the Olympia next door. It was like walking into a canteen. The food was better at breakfast and pretty poor at dinner. No one checking your room number and showing you to a table. Anyone could come in the restaurant. The people in adjoining rooms could be pretty noisy. Unfortunately this hotel has no atmosphere and is lacking attention to detail. Poor customer service. Disappointed. Management get a grip.

This is genuinely the best hotel I've been to in a while. The food is amazing, the view is beautiful, the staff are so friendly, the beach and the activities around it are endless and so fun. Overall a great experience. Definitely coming back next summer.

My best friend and I booked individual rooms after a local stay ended up not being comfortable. The hotel staff was super friendly and the accommodations were beautiful, relaxing, and much more comfortable than our previous apartment rental. Once I walked into my room, took a shower, and sat on the side of the bed....I woke up 3.5 hours later feeling like I just had a spa day. We both scheduled massages downstairs in the Wellness Center and walked away thanking the staff there for amazing massages, which we both needed from body aches due to traveling and working out. The balcony to each room was peaceful and a great way for me to wake up each morning and simply sit there looking at and listening to the stillness of the water and scenery. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

Been here several times and this is the last time. Things are only getting worse and it's not worth the money anymore. - No porter on arrival, had to handle everything myself. - Air conditioning is a joke, and the furnitures are already worn down. - Ordered a cot in the room several days in advance, this was not in place on arrival. When we got it, it was broken. - Our bed was sunken. - Door/access to the neighboring room from our room was unlocked and broken, had to fix this myself as they couldn't close it... - The staff in the pool bars/restaurants are lazy, unprofessional and not at all service minded. You have to go to them yourself and order. No menus on the tables, and they serve the coffee in cardboard cups... Get a grip! - The worst thing is that they have moved away from the wristband principle that they had before, and now they are letting people in from all over the place who are not staying at the hotel. They occupy sunbeds, swim in the pools, and queue unnecessarily in the lifts just to take a selfie at the Aria Bar. This also create a lot of noise in the corridors, which you can hear clearly as the rooms are not insulated well enough. I approached the staff regarding this, who say they are out of wristbands, which is basically a lie as they only want more turnover in the bars. Too bad as people who are not guests occupy the places in the pools, lifts and other common areas for which others pay a high price for. The hotel was VERY good in 2017 and 2018 when there were different rules, now it is barely good enough for 3 stars, and the food is very disappointing. They should’ve kept the breakfast and dinner at the Sky Restaurant, now everyone is eating at the older hotel. Pitty! Very sad and a shame as it was undoubtedly Croatia's finest hotel a couple of years ago.

This is my second time at this hotel. My last visit was five years ago, and I can see they have improved several things. For example, the food was much better this time. The room is still great, and I would say that this hotel is architecturally one of the best on the Croatian coast. They have nice pool complexes, and the beach is very close. For kids, there is also a playroom and a nice playground.

When you arrive at reception you get 4 or 5 coupuns that u can exchange for towels and a room key and everything.for each coupun you lose you get charged 20 euros.you also get a bracelet .why do you only get 1 towl coupon per person and why do you have 5 different coupuns for everything so that you can lose everything and the hotel makes even more money. The water at the infinity pool is to cold and usually nobody is in that pool for more than five mintues .there is also no shade by the pool on the ninth floor. My whole experience was very underwhelming. Would not go again since i think it is not worth the money.
