Severin Safari Camp

Severin Safari Camp was just an amazing and authentic safari experience. The camp itself, located inside Tsavo West, has waterholes just metres away from the rooms and restaurant area to give you a chance to view wildlife up close as they come to drink water. Rooms are spacious, very clean and superb. Staff is very hospitable and amazing from the camp manager Rawlings, F&B chefs, Natasha and Tawfiq our waiter and waitress, Suleiman and Dickson the most professional, knowledgeable and friendly driver/guides. Facilities and amenities also are up to stand. Hot afternoons by the pool or just an evening at the spa. And to finish it off sundowners were awesome with breathtaking views overlooking the park. Will definitely be back!

We had the pleasure of staying at Severin Safari Camp in Tsavo West this June with family and friends, and it was a truly magical experience. The camp is beautifully set in the heart of the park, with stunning views and well-designed, comfortable tents that blend perfectly with nature. From arrival, we were welcomed with warmth and exceptional hospitality. Special thanks to Camp Manager Rawlings, whose professionalism and personal attention made our stay seamless. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel completely at home. Game drives were a highlight … while we didn’t spot lions, we saw plenty of elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife. Our guide was knowledgeable and made every outing engaging. Evenings by the campfire, under the stars, were the perfect way to end each day. Severin is a peaceful, authentic escape . Ideal for families and anyone seeking nature with comfort. We left with beautiful memories and look forward to returning!

The staff is truly first rate, we really enjoyed our time with them. The safaris were very good we enjoyed them immensely. The tents are remarkably clean and comfortable. The shower could use a little upgrade other than that everything was fine.

When I bring a group to Kenya, Severin is always my first stop. It makes the first night “feel” like you are on a safari. I always prefer a tented camp as you are with the animals. Seeing Wildebeests or Zebras come to the waterholes while you are enjoying wonderful meals puts you in the heart of things. The staff is always helpful and accommodating. My group loved it there. The tents are comfortable and well appointed. Who expects a bidet in a tent!
