The most memorable stay at the St. Regis Vonmüller Resort Maldives. We celebrated our 50th birthday, so many options to pick from, but this was definitely the right choice. A very nice welcome after customs at Male Airport. We did not have to wait more than 15 minutes to board our seaplane flight to the resort. A very warm welcome by our amazing butler, Akram. He made our stay very special and was always checking on us to make sure we were taken care of. Our beautiful over-the-water bungalow was everything. The room was exceptionally well kept by our roomkeeper. At the buffet breakfast, we made the sweetest friends ever. Sam is the star of the show. But everyone is so kind, so effortlessly attentive, so welcoming: Dina, Anisa, Bem (Celeste), Novi, and Pina. The cargo restaurant was our favorite. Naifu welcomed us with a big smile the two nights we had dinner there (feet on the sand). Mustafa, the chef, has a magic touch for sure. His meals are a delight. He will make sure you go to your room happily, well-fed. Zel at the beach bar was always so kind. Very few luxury hotels have mastered such a great staff. No doubt everyone will do anything they can to please you. It makes a huge difference to have that personal touch in such a remote, unique place.

The breathtaking beauty of Vommuli Island is truly captivating, a quintessential Maldivian paradise. However, what elevates the St. Regis Maldives beyond just its stunning location is the unparalleled level of service we experienced. From the moment we stepped off the plane in Malé, a friendly St. Regis staff member was there to greet us and seamlessly handle all the logistics of our transfer to the seaplane. This immediate attention to detail set the tone for our entire stay. Throughout our time on the island, we were consistently impressed by the staff's genuine care and their proactive approach to ensuring we had an unforgettable vacation. It wasn't just about fulfilling requests; it was the thoughtful, often unprompted, gestures that truly made the difference. Our butler, Hussain, was an absolute standout. He effortlessly managed everything from dinner reservations and spa appointments to arranging buggy transportation around the expansive resort. What truly impressed us was his incredible thoughtfulness and resourcefulness. For instance, when my wife unfortunately broke her sunglasses early in our trip (a crucial item in the bright Maldivian sun!), Hussain appeared with superglue in under five minutes – a small act that saved the day. Later, when my wife mentioned running out of hairpins, Hussain went above and beyond by sourcing some from Malé and having them delivered the next day. He was always available, full of helpful tips for maximizing our time on the island, and genuinely cared about making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Our overwater villa was a true sanctuary. It was incredibly spacious, beautifully appointed with luxurious amenities, and offered stunning views. Our villa attendant, Jailam, deserves special mention. He not only kept our villa impeccably clean and organized with twice-daily service but also added delightful personal touches. We looked forward to his creative towel animals that appeared on our bed each day, and the personalized notes he left were always a lovely surprise. The snorkeling right from our villa deck was surprisingly vibrant, and we even had the magical experience of watching pods of dolphins jumping in the crystal-clear water just outside our doorstep on several occasions. Dining at the St. Regis was consistently a pleasure. The resort's restaurants not only offered a diverse range of delicious cuisines but also demonstrated exceptional flexibility and care in accommodating our gluten and dairy intolerances. The chefs were often willing to prepare dishes from scratch or make thoughtful substitutions to ensure we didn't feel limited in our choices. A particular highlight was at Alba, where they managed to create the most incredible gluten-free and dairy-free waffles we have ever tasted! Out stay at the St Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort was everything we hoped it would be and so much more. From the moment we walked off the sea plane, the resort met and exceeded all of our expectations. Our butler, Abanoub, was a fantastic resource during our stay and was the epitome of true customer service. We will miss him! ❤️ AWS and Naseer did a phenomenal job keeping our villas clean and well-stocked. The pictures don’t do the water, sand and beauty justice. Book the trip - you won’t regret it! ☀️

Add the St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort to your bucket list, and then relax and enjoy. My husband took the reins and booked a trip to the Maldives for an early 30th anniversary. Initially, he booked at the W Maldives months before our trip. Due to unforeseen circumstances in their delayed restoration at that hotel, our reservations were canceled a few days prior to traveling. However, the W was able to transfer our reservations to their sister resort - The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort. The St. Regis immediately coordinated with us via e-mail regarding reservations, dining, activities, and such. This was tremendously helpful as we were worried that many things were already booked. The St. Regis was very responsive and accommodating. Upon arrival at the St. Regis, we were welcomed from our wonderful butler, Akram, who was beyond exceptional throughout whole stay. I cannot praise Akram enough for how memorable he made our visit at the St. Regis. The service from the minute we landed on the seaplane to the minute we took off at the airport was stellar. As our villa was not quite ready when we arrived, Akram took us to a huge garden villa for a few hours where we were able to freshen up and nap. And when our villa (sunset king villa over the water with pool) was ready, Akram immediately escorted us via buggy to our luxurious room. He coordinated everything and really made us feel like the most important couple. The housekeeping (specifically Naseer) paid attention to every detail in the room, including sweet handwritten messages. PROS: An endless option for breakfast at Alba to include ala carte menu items, and then the huge selection of food from the buffet. The staff, including Bem and Mausim, and the others were delightful. We were always greeted and taken care of. My husband fell in love with the traditional Maldivian breakfast and had that almost every day. Dinner at T-Pan was quiet and relaxing. Our chef and the server for the evening (I apologize that I cannot remember their names), were very attentive and communicative about what was being made and served. Dinner at Cargo was romantic. To sit outside under the stars and enjoy Middle Eastern cuisine was magical. Dinner at Orientale was special as it was the last evening of our stay. The view, the service, and the sushi were unbelievable. Dina was our server, and she was fantastic. Although we did not have dinner at The Whale, we went several evenings to enjoy the Violet Hour and champagne sabering, in addition to drinks and tapas. The music, along with being able to sit and watch the sunset, completely sets the vibe for the rest of the evening. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the cocktails were fabulous. (We had Mahesh serve us numerous times). TIP: Keep in mind that you should make reservations before arrival at the restaurants as they tend to book up. The stay was just wonderful. We had a very nice beach villa. Our butler, Nazym, was very accommodating. She was super helpful with everything and has been lovely with our son (almost 2 years old) Furthermore our villa attended, Massood, made a very good job and surprised us and our son with many nice details. In general the staff and all visitors have been super family friendly. You rarely find this level of welcoming friendliness anywhere.

The trip to the Maldives was well worth the few months of waiting. The views were absolutely stunning, and every meal we had tasted fantastic. If you love coral reefs and colorful fish, I highly recommend staying at The St. Regis. Their service is truly exceptional—they pay attention to every little detail. For example, the restaurant staff went out of their way to help calm our children when they were crying, so we could enjoy our meals peacefully. They even made a cozy bed using the sofa for our child when they got sleepy. Housekeeping was also outstanding. They checked everything thoroughly—for instance, they helped us organize the alcohol tray by arranging our baby bottles neatly instead. It's clear that the staff genuinely care and go the extra mile to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Our personal butler, Angela, provided top-notch service throughout our stay. She was caring, thoughtful, and attentive to the smallest details, always going the extra mile to personalize our experience. Her warm and personal touch truly made a difference, and we deeply appreciate her efforts. Thanks to Angela, we were able to enjoy our time with complete peace of mind.

If you want all your cares to melt away and feel pampered to the max look no further and just book this resort for your special trip! From the moment we set foot at St Regis Vommuli we were blown away by the hospitality, luxury and attention to detail in every aspect of our vacation experience. Our overwater sunset bungalow was spacious, modern, luxuriously appointed and offered amazing views of the ocean with the clearest water we have ever seen. A very special expression of gratitude goes to our executive butler, Abanoub, who raised the level of our experience to truly absolutely amazing! He took care of Every detail of our stay, allowing us to unwind and relax on our anniversary like we did not have a care in the world! He is a gifted artist who cut amazing silhouettes of us and letters for our welcome and anniversary message out of local foliage, made luxurious bubble baths ready for us, took the most amazing photos of our family throughout the trip and was our guide to our stay, always ready to assist. His level of commitment to excellence is second to none. Our villa attendant, Almas, was excellent, ensuring the each time we returned to the villa we felt like we just walked in at check-in. Everything was organized right down to our toiletries and the villa refreshed. He made a new sea animal out of towels for us Every Day while we were out. We felt like the villa was cleaned each time we stepped out yet we almost never saw him. The dining experiences were exquisite, starting with the amazing breakfast buffet, the steak restaurant, and amazing whale bar for drinks and seafood. The executive chef made us feel welcome and attended to our meal preferences. The wait staff was amazing in the level of service and personal touches as well as conversation. Did I mention the amazing sea life? We saw stingrays, a huge jelly, sand sharks, and even spotted a barracuda eat a small jellyfish right under our deck at 4am while we were adjusting to the jet lag. Snorkeling was spectacular, just swim 50 yards out from our deck and along edge of the reef at the drop off. Spiny lobster: check. A family of clownfish in a anemone: check, schools of other fish feeding on the reef: check. It was like swimming in an aquarium! So for an amazing tropical trip look no further than the St Regis Vommuli! Yea it’s a long flight and not for the faint of wallet, but the memories we made will last us out lifetime!

St. Regis Vommuli is truly the ultimate holiday destination – everything here is simply exceptional. From the world-class facilities and outstanding restaurants to the incredibly attentive staff, every detail sets a new standard for luxury. Having a personal butler adds an extra layer of magic to the experience – and Nazym is an absolute gem! Despite having our own private villa, we couldn’t resist visiting Gabriel and the amazing team at the beach bar every single day – it’s just that good. The food, especially at Alba and Orientale, is nothing short of extraordinary. It’s hard to believe such culinary excellence exists in the middle of the ocean. I’ll definitely be back one day – this place is unforgettable
