The Villas, Wadduwa

A tranquil, hotel good food, great service and friendly staff. Perfect conclusion to a very busy holiday. The large pool area was perfect for relaxation. I would throughly recommend as a place to stay. The sea at the end of the property is spectacular as are the sunsets and of course the weather is wonderful.

We had a peaceful stay at The Villas Wadduwa by Amaya this November. Went there with our whole family crew (with 3 little kids) to celebrate my spouse's birthday. The Villas truly live up to the name and elegance with rich Sri Lankan traditional villas set up starting from the entrance itself. We reserved a suite villa and it was good. Comparatively small but had everything that we needed. I like the verandah opening towards the beach side. Kids had a great time playing in the sand and beach is just few meters away. Amazing view there. The next best thing was beautiful Plunge pool. It was quite spacious for our 3 kids to enjoy and i think it suits well for a couple too. Next good thing was their food and the flavours. Even though the spread was small, taste was truly good. Really love their stuff with beef and traditional Sri Lankan menus. so flavourful. Quite friendly F&B staff was there lead by Alex (F&B head) who is very helpful. Overall i can say the stay was good. We enjoyed it. Thank you The Villas Wadduwa team.

We ended our 14 day tour of Sri Lanka with a five night stay here. It was as we expected quiet, relaxing and just what we needed after a very busy, hectic 11 days. As we have found in all the hotels we have stayed in during our trip the service, welcome and friendliness was excellent. The food,both buffet and a la carte, was very good. Our flight home wasn't until 11pm and the hotel gave us our room with a late check out of 3pm which was great. Just enough time to have a late lunch in the bar before our taxi to the airport.n A lovely end to our fabulous holiday, thank you.

Lovely hotel but very isolated The rooms a beautiful and very large with lovely bath rooms Food is very good and the chef will make you anything if you can't find something you like from the buffet. All the staff are friendly and go out of their way to help, only problem is the pool bar, when some times hard to find the bar staff . Best Mojito and pina colada we have had in Sri Lanka, Lovely beach, same we could not swim as if you come in September (monsoon)the sea is to ruff . Would recommend if your not planning to leave the property. We Did have a few problems with the WiFi and some attention to detail (not refilling things ) could be better .

This has been a wonderful place to finish our holiday . We have enjoyed the quality of the accommodation and the hospitality of the staff. The food has been excellent. Ishano has been very helpful in arranging our transport to the airport .The leisure facilities are excellent as is the pool area

We were so lucky to enjoy 5 nights at this hotel. It was everything we wanted and more. The service in the restaurant at breakfast and dinner was exemplary. Rashmika and Chef Prasanna were very obliging. Ishan was helpful on arrival and on our departure day Elesworth ensured we had private access to an air conditioned room. The quality of the rooms and food was high and the pool and garden was very peaceful. We’d have no hesitation in returning 😊
