I had a wonderful experience at Citrus Waskadu. The buffet was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The pool added a refreshing touch to the stay, perfect for relaxation. However, the bar area can get quite lively, especially when there's a DJ. If you're looking for a quieter evening, it might be wise to request a room further from the noise. Overall, a fantastic stay with just a small note for those preferring a more tranquil night.

Nice hotel we stayed few days, our children like it and we enjoyed foods soooo much!

Great place to stay and nice people working there. Only even better if, rooms could be a bit newer.

Hotel is modern , fresh , well maintained . Perfect for a relaxing vacation with gym , excellent long pool , yoga , sports area . Access to the beach is private and peaceful. Food spread was lavish Nd tasty . Staff is very friendly Nd goes out of the way to help you . We enjoyed the wide spread of food for new years gala dinner . Bar has good choice of liquor. You can take a tuktuk from hotel lobby roam around to see local life . Go to kalatura rich look store or others for cheap but good quality daily wear clothes . Beach is little rough . Spending 5 nights with hotel was relaxing then we moved to bentota to enjoy the beach which is smooth Nd one of the best I have come across travelling world around . Special thank to Tusharri to ensure we had the best stay Nd the personal touch she provided and Mr Prasad Wijesyriya for maintaining the hotel so well . You can always see them around with a smile and ensuring all guests are happy checking on them . Key feature is the long swimming pool . We are staying at Taj bentota now but we found citrus much better with pool , rooms and pricing for quality .

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Room fantastic, service exceptional, super location. Pool area great too. Food plentiful

S. Thomas College, Mount Lavinia Class of 71 reunion was held from 1-2 March at Citrus Waskaduwa for a group of around 75 classmates from many countries . We occupied nearly 30 rooms for this momentous occasion from Saturday 1st till Sunday 2nd of March. The Citrus Waskaduwa hotel team lead by GM Shehan and his efficient team organised every little detail very meticulously and professionally to our satisfaction. All three meals we had , i.e. Lunch , Dinner and breakfast were sumptuous, especially the special dinner during the main event in the banquet hall ! Special mention should be made of Ms.Hiranya Fernando , Assistant Manager Banquet sales & operations and Achintha , F & B Manager who meticulously coordinated every thing with the organising committee to perfection. Also Upendra from Head office who for many months was efficiently and professionally handled all the reservations of the nearly 30 rooms, ably assisted by Gayan Subasinghe, Assistant manager Front office, substituting for Ms.Thushari , the Front office Manager who regularly checked if every thing was OK. Thank you Citrus Waskaduwa for making our "Big 70 "reunion a very enjoyable and a memorable one. We will be back soon !

Thank you Citrus team for the friendly service provided during my stay at the hotel. Also i had my homecoming ceremony as a garden function which was supported by the Citrus team to the highest level. Really appreciate the effort they put in making my dream come true!

Had the greatest time here.Great location.Rooms have the most amazing view of the ocean.The food spread was amazing.Super friendly staff and specialy front office manager Thushari she’s really kind and helpful.Overall,wholesome experience 10/10 for everything.Keep up the good work, shall definitely visit again

Citrus was a last-minute change to our Sri Lanka itinerary, and it was a pleasant overnight stay. The room was clean, adequately-sized and had a nice view of the lawn and beach beyond. The pool is huge and has a good action for kids. The dinner and breakfast buffets, especially the cooking stations, were excellent in terms of range. The quality and value-for-money were also very reasonable. The poolside staff were very friendly and helpful when I needed some minor first aid. A few downsides: - although the hotel is fairly new, it is also already showing signs of wear-and-tear eg: our sliding door handle was rusted solid (admittedly hard to avoid in a seafront property) - I asked 4 times (both in-person and via the room phone) for the day bed to be made up with sheets and a pillow for my son, but this never happened. This was despite the booking being for a room that sleeps 3; our son instead had to cram into bed with myself and my husband. - I called the front desk to make a spa reservation, but then was told this had to be done in-person at the front desk (unclear why). At the desk, I was then told I would receive a confirmation call for my booking, which never occurred - the spa is oddly located across a car park with poor signage. While the treatment itself was ok, and the spa facilities were great, my masseuse didn’t introduce herself, didn’t ask if the pressure she was using was ok with me, didn’t leave the room while I undressed or explain any aspect of the treatment, and there was also no music/relaxation sounds (all of which is standard at pretty much every spa I’ve ever been to).

Hello everyone!!! We're staying here with my husband on new years holidays. What a beautiful hotel with kindest staff. Property is lovely with lot of facilities. Everyone is enjoying Especially the lunch buffet is tacious with vast collection. Wr enjoyed all meals. I recommend this hotel for everyone and they have spa massage as well. It was good as I thought. This is our second time visiting to Sri Lanka and our choice staying a this hotel is the best thing which we made. The lady Chalani never forget us and she were there to talk and smiling. She taking care of everyone. We felt really comfortable while we were staying at this hotel

We stayed here for 7 nights whilst celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Rooms are cleaned daily. Lots of loungers and fresh beach towels were available. Lots to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were treated so well by all the staff in both the hotel and the spa. Special mention to Gaya, Roshan, Sherin, Siwi and Sovi who made our vacation extra special. While we were there the sea was very 'choppy', with red flags on the beach. We were told not to swim in the sea, but there were a number of people swimming. Staying at Citrus Waskaduwa enhanced our wonderful experience of Sri Lanka

I had an absolutely wonderful time celebrating Christmas on December 24th with my family and friends. The event was truly exceptional, filled with great food, lively music, and an overall festive atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly, making sure everyone felt welcomed and taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious, and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The pool and the entire environment were pristine, offering a refreshing and relaxing experience. The kids had an amazing time, enjoying every moment. It was a perfect celebration, and we all left with beautiful memories.
