What a perfect sweet escape place. Based on my own experience I will definitely come back here not only about the beautiful view,delicious food it because the people who work there. There true hospitally and great service is the best of all. I will recommend this hotel for someone who's looking for the place to unwind,relax and spend quality time to your love ones. This place makes me feel at home 😊. Once again thank you so much to all the staff's Mr SISIRA SILVA, AJITH , NETHMI and UPAKSHA to your amazing quality service and also to all the CHEF'S who served us the best delicious meal . We stayed at Ayana Sea and booked a plunge pool room, which was undoubtedly luxurious, spacious, and comfortable. The private pool was a great feature, adding a touch of relaxation to our stay. The hotel's surroundings and ambiance were also quite nice, creating a peaceful getaway. However, as local tourists, we felt that the overall experience didn’t fully justify the price. Beyond the plunge pool, there wasn’t much to make the stay stand out. Additionally, the food was mainly catered to foreign tourists, and we would have loved to see more local flavours on the menu. If you're looking for a quiet and private retreat with a personal pool, this could be a good option. But for local travellers seeking a more well-rounded experience, it may not be the best value for money.

This is a beautiful hotel that is right by the sea with beautiful beaches. Staff is extremely friendly and will help you with anything you need. You get your own private hotel room and a private small pool, which is just beautiful.. We had massages that were wonderful and staff that has been super friendly and nice. I will definitely come back. Only downside is the location. It’s definitely a drive from the city.

I stayed in Ayana Sea for 3 nights and it was like staying in Heaven. The location is amazing, the room was very big, clean and comfortable. The staff was very kind and helpful. The resort is surrounded by wild nature so the rooms are very silent. I had a full body massage at the SPA and it was a great experience. Very recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Ayana Sea last weekend. The food was delicious and the views as well as the hotel were lovely. What was outstanding though were the massages given by Padmini in the spa...I would encourage people to not miss the authentic ayurveda massage experience.

We stayed there one night as we went for a short holiday. The rooms are spacious and tidy. Pool and other amenities are perfect. Food is on a Al Carte but almost cover all the varieties of food. In fact we were looking for Buffet but finally we were fully satisfied with the food they served. The staff is so polite and helpful. We wish good luck for them.

Luxury escapism among meticulously maintained grounds, a glorious pool, a sweeping beach and smiling staff ready to meet your after need. Food is the highlight here, with Chef Mahinda executing every dish to perfection. There's a serene in-house aryuvedic spa which is the perfect remedy to help you unwind after doing nothing, or surfing et al. On that note, there is a fabulous surf instructor just a couple of food steps from the hotel (along the beach to the right) - it isn't affiliated with the hotel in any way, but it's the perfect opportunity to learn to surf on Wadduwa beach.

We were guided by past travellers reviews and they did not disappoint. The space is so boutique, it's intimate with 16 rooms so you get to know the people there. D.M. Ekanayake and Nidun Sanjula were attentive and courteous managing the restaurant and bar experience. We felt like part of the family. The meals prepared by Mahinda the amazing chef, were filled with delicious seafood, and fresh local ingredients. His crab curry made with huge crabs was the highlight of the menu, as well as the delicate and refined soups. The menu changed daily and would recommend getting 'Full Board' where all meals are included. Good selection of cocktails and both local and international spirits. Don't miss the cute bar upstairs from the dining area and it has its own pool table and a little library for relaxation. For next level in relaxation go find the amazing Padmini in the spa just off the front desk. Her unique massage techniques are so relaxing you will be stopping by every day. The beach is 20 metres away and the ocean is so warm if you like small but powerful waves this beach is for you. There is also a beautiful main pool for relaxing with attentive pool service. I went there with my wife for a vacation.we stayed in one of the ocean view villas with a plunge pool & it was great. The location is beautiful, The villa was spacious with luxury facilities including a private pool , Bath tub & many more. The outdoor garden is also very well maintained & beautiful.The staff is very friendly & supportive, we had two buffets since there were some guests. The food was delicious & plenty in amount. Prices was fair.The overall experience is amazing & relaxing. Will highly recommend it to anyone 🙌♥️

Great hospitality with very nice staff who are helpful all the time. It was a perfect stay from the start to the end...candle night dinenr to floating breakfast and plunge pool inside your bathroom makes everything soo luxurious and a much deserved holiday. You have activities like pool 🎱, chess, darts, badminton and many more with a great pool for you to relax. The garden is beautifully landscaped and it feels so private as it has only few rooms/villas available. The food is soo much and it's worth the every penny.

We stayed at Ayana Sea from 17th to 19th February 2023. We must say that this place is truly wonderful. We chose Premier Ocean View Villa for our stay and it was a nice cozy room with direct access to garden, beach and pool. Both the plunge pool with the room and the swimming pool were super cool. The food they offered were truly delicious and also it must be noted that the Sri Lankan curries and soups were a bit too spicy. The maintenance throughout the hotel was also noteworthy. Also, the way they provided us info were well detailed and methodical. Hats off to all Ayana Sea team for providing a friendly, memorable and courteous service throughout our stay. We would recommend Ayana Sea for anyone who’s looking for a calm and relaxing getaway and we also would love to visit again in the future!
