Serene Pavilions

The resort is beautiful and located in a stunning setting. We stayed at this property for one night in one of their ocean-view villas. Our room was clean and comfortable. However, the property could use a bit more maintenance, and the hotel reception looked rather dull. We didn’t have Wi-Fi in the room, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the food and drinks were excellent. Our butler, Manjula, was very kind and provided fabulous service. However, our villa lacked privacy. The ground staff could be seen walking past the villa, even when we were in the private pool or the living area.

We had a great experience at Serene Pavilion during our visit. From the front desk all the way to the checkout the process was seamless and smooth. The Villa was well maintained and spotless. The staffs attention to detail is spot on and our butler "Menuka" made our stay an amazing one! 5 starts to Menuka for providing an excellent friendly service, attending to all our needs just one message away. He made sure to go above and beyond to provide us with everything we need to make us feel comfortable. The chefs prepared delicious food both yummy and appealing to the eyes. The amenities at the property were great and upto standard. Highly recommend for a couple looking for a private, relaxing getaway not too far from Colombo.

We had an amazing stay overall as honeymooners. The room we got was spectacular and the view everything was perfect. The food also met our expectations. The only downfall we had was an issue with the WiFi which took quite long to be fixed as we didn’t had wifi when we entered. I Believe this should have been looked into before we arrived. However our overall experience was wonderful my husband and I enjoyed a lot and had a great time while we will greatly recommend for a great holiday. Our Butler Ashen was very helpful always there to help us with everything at any time and Wathsala was very helpful and friendly too. We look forward for another visit.

We came to celebrate Mother’s Day, and you all arranged a seat with the best view of the seafront. She was enjoying her treat too, and we highly recommend this location for its calm and quiet atmosphere and excellent customer service. Thanks again!

We booked an ocean pavilion at this hotel, which offered some nice amenities including a larger living area, spacious bathroom with a jacuzzi, private pool, and a nice view of the beach. However, the villa itself seemed a bit old and not well-maintained. Unfortunately, we were unable to use the private pool because it didn't appear clean, despite the hotel staff maintaining it. Similarly, we avoided the hotel's main pool as it also looked less than pristine. During our stay, we noticed that some staff members seemed to neglect local guests in favor of foreign visitors. Although the villa felt safe and private, the actions of a few staff members made us feel uneasy and dissatisfied during our two-night stay. Overall, our experience was underwhelming, and considering the various issues we encountered, we did not find the stay worth the cost.

From the moment you arrive at the hotel you feel that you have arrived to heaven. You get a private villa, perfectly equipped, where you can enjoy your vacation, including a private pool and meals in the villa and enjoy the time with the family. All you hear around is the sound of waves in the sea and the chirping of birds. From the reception staff, through the private butler (Milan) who is available for you around the clock, to the house keeping (Daminda) - everyone makes sure to make your vacation perfect. We will definitely come back again.
