there is almost no wifi connection in rooms no air conditioning in the lobby bathtub does not work water pressure is weak no safe box in my room i dont recommend wasting your money on this resort. its an old building which has not repaired for a long time

Once arrived at the hotel the room lock was broken. Had to call engineer. Tv not working. Terrible WiFi. Breakfast very basic. When it rained the roof leaked and had buckets to catch the rain. Torn furniture. Stayed 4 days no beds made no fresh towels. Shower just dripped no power to it. The whole place was very shabby and old.

Great place to relax by the pool and take in the gorgeous ocean view overlooking sunset. The food is very diverse and good, for everyone something to choose from. The beds are extremely comfortable, allowing for a good nights sleep! Would come again :)

The hotel is nice and cozy. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. We had gone for a chess tournament and the matches always ended late. The manager, Mohd Shahmir, made special arrangements for us to be able to use the pool after hours. The reception helped load the phones for us as our cards were not being accepted in Sri Lanka. The beach has nice sitting benches to enjoy the sea. July is a rough month for the sea so we could not swim but the views were breathtaking. I am sure this hotel is more hustling and bustling in the tourist season. One advice, buy your own water when you come. Hotels give only 2 half litre bottles a day and if you need more you have to buy except during meal times. In July it is very hot and humid. The super market is close and there are many small souvenir shops in the area. Tuk tuks are available at the gate at all times. Overall a nice experience.

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. There were vermin in the fresh mango juice at breakfast, and the service was poor. Flies and mosquitoes were everywhere and died flies and mosquitoes on the buffet table and in food, and the pool was unclean. The hot water was only switched on after 5 p.m., and the lunch buffet was like a alms giving menu. The photos on the website seem outdated as the hotel is now old and unclean. I do not recommend this place

Be careful with your money. Dont even leave it in the safe box. Take it with you at all times, otherwise some will be probably stolen. I forgot my wallet in the room and 50€ banknote was stolen. They paid me back after telling this matter to the manager. They can open safebox too so dont use it. Staff is unresponsive. You need to ask multiple times for them to finally bring you stuff. We didnt have safebox, fridge, cups etc. All other things in this hotel were ok. Hotel needs renovation but if youre not very fancy then your stay will be fine.

We had to have our rooms changed because at first room the toilet wasn't working, there was no refrigerator, shower knob was broken. At second room there were bugs and visible bite marks from them when you wake up at morning. Since the hotel was so horrible we decided to change for 4 days. When we came back for our last night there had been no room service. The rooms were just as messy as we had left them.
