Polzeath Beach House

We booked a last-minute one-night stay over a weekend in October and had a very enjoyable experience. The hotel is modern and the room was very comfortable overall, perfect for a short stay. The bed was a little soft for our liking but the room was very quiet and there were some nice touches such as the fresh milk for tea/coffee. Breakfast was delicious and really good value for money. Location is superb, just above the amazing beach at Polzeath. Looking forward to our next visit!

We had a one night stay on a family road trip and it turned out to be a great choice. Communication was excellent – the team called in the morning to check what bed would be needed for our daughter, and then rang again (as promised) when our room was ready, well before the official 4pm check-in. We arrived early and spent the day on the beach (just a tip – when the tide comes in, the stairs closest to the house aren’t accessible, so plan your route accordingly!). Parking is limited as there’s no dedicated space for the house, but because we got there early we managed to grab a free spot right outside. On arrival, the staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. Our room was modern, spotless and well equipped. As it was a last-minute booking we didn’t get a sea view this time, but we enjoyed our stay and will return – next time we’ll book earlier for that sea view!
