We chose this hotel because it was the closest to the Waimea Canyon and Kokee State Parks. As an older couple who enjoys hiking but are over "roughing it" as campers, the location was perfect for daily excursions to the park. And so nice to come back to a clean room and a shower! Staff were friendly and attentive. Would definitely book again!

Small ‘motel’ in a great location, just down the road from Waimea Canyon Road. Initial impressions were that this is truly a historic building but as we settled in we fell in love with the rustic setting, ocean view with abundant mango trees and horse paddock in the foreground. Staff were extremely responsive and helpful to the special request and simple snags we encountered. Thank you West Inn!

Very good, friendly and courteous communication. For example, problems with the credit card and the request for a late independent check-in were solved quickly and easily by the great staff. Apart from that, the accommodation is perfectly located for trips to Waimea Canyon. Everything was very clean and nicely prepared. We would gladly stay again.

A very comfortable stay, clean and walking distance to food places and coffee. Management always responded quickly with information about setting up our stay. Shannon texted us with clear instructions how to access our room since we arrived late at night. Wonderful stay and will highly recommend to our friends and family.

Very clean rooms. Great location to the local beaches and gift shops. Staff were great !!! Very friendly and accommodating for our needs. Best girls trip ever. Full kitchen and king size beds. Definitely will come back to the West Inn hotel.

A very convenient and fun location. Balcony overlooking the street was quite interesting. Gina's Anykine Bakery delicious. A shortwalk to Waimea pier in the morning as well as night stroll for amazing stargazing. The Aloha Spirit is very alive at the West Inn. Thank you Peter, Shannon, and especially Karen.

A surprising gem of a find.
Not to be confused with the WESTIN hotel chain, this small hotel is the only hotel we could find on the far west end of the island close to the canyons and boat excursions to avoid an early morning drive from the 'big" city. We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem with new/ remodeled rooms, clean, good ac. Would recommend this for those wanting to be close to Napoli and canyon tours.
