Candeo Hotels Nankai Wakayama recensioner

Candeo sets a new benchmark for the Japanese hotel industry. The design, the room layout, the space and the details all contributing to an amazing and comfortable stay. The onsen on the roof is just breath-taking. The breakfast is tasty with good varieties which included some local delicacies.

Location is excellent as it is just above nankai station. Can store lugguage before check in and I am impressed that they will put it inside the room once ready. Equipment is better than normal hotel, has sky spa but much people used it at night.

Very convenient location, on top of the JR station. We came here by car and the hotel would give us a special discounted ticket after parking in the JR station (limited at ¥800 per day), which was nice! The view at the reception is very pretty especially at the sunset time. We enjoyed the sky spa as well.

Candeo is right on Wakayama-Shi Train station, which makes it incredibly convenient. Sound-proofing ensures perfect sleep and no disturbance from trains or traffic etc. The staff accepted early check-in at 2pm and were incredibly courteous, professional, English-speaking and kind. Really excellent. Some large Japanese hotel chains are not entirely geared to the "international market" and the attitude to non-Japanese guests can be less than ideal. NOT CANDEO. The staff are comfortable with an international clientele, cheerful and welcoming. How wonderful! The entire hotel is extremely clean and well-run. Everything says "professional". The flower arrangements on each floor are REAL. Flowers are extremely expensive in Japan. The view from the reception area (Floor 11) is fantastic. The spa (Floor 12) is open air, with a great view and a magical feel. I enjoyed my stay very much and I hope to return to Candeo soon.

It’s just above Wakayamashi station, if you are a fan of train, it’s a great place to watch the train embark and disembark. The sky spa view is quite good, though it might be cold when the wind is strong. The staff is very considerate, it was a pleasant journey

Room size is good. Only parking is not easy to find. No free parking

Nice Facilities, Next to Station and have Hot Spring in the hotel.

The hotel is right next to Wakayamashi Station, hotel staffs showed great hospitality. 100/100. Breakfast was nice but not too special. The room is spacious with large Sony TV. The rooftop bath was good and you can enjoy a great view there. However there were so many guys with tattoos with bad manner going in as well, that’s not very pleasant. I hope the hotel can manage this issue better.
