Walcha Motel

The service by the owner is exceptional. I was travelling on my own with a trailer attached. I had rung ahead to say I would be arriving after the office closed (which is at 8.30pm) and had been given my room number to go straight to. I driven into the complex, before remembering I should have parked on the street with my trailer. I was in a bit of a bind, trying to reverse into a spot where I could turn around and go back out. The owner had obviously noticed this and came out to the carpark to offer assistance. He moved his own vehicle which made it easier for me to turn around without reversing. Then, rather than me having to park on the street, he changed the room I could stay in so that I could park across 3 carpark spaces that had no motel guests staying there. This actually put me in an upgraded room from what I had booked, but he still charged the same amount. He did all this in such a kind manner. When I thanked him for his kindness, his reply was "You are my guest. I need to look after you." Such a wonderful service ethic. As well as all this, the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Great Motel in a great little town. A real gem of a place. We were surprised by how big and well kept the rooms are. The bathroom was very clean. Had all amenities. The owners are lovely too. Walking distance to the shops and located in the main town centrr. Would recommend to everyone

I can highly recommend WALCHA MOTEL I arrived around 7pm without a booking and was greeted warmly by the owners Sheetal& Raghar Puri. Both Sheet also and Raghar where such a lovely couple . N9thing I needed was a problem and was attended with minutes . The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was so soft and supportive espiciall after a long 4 hr drive on the Oxlely hwy I had a great night's sleep . The motel was a great find and every need was provided in the room Thank you both so much . It was a pleasure to stay. Best wishes Janeen Armstrong-Williams
