Courtyard Middletown Goshen

Great stay as it was close to Legoland for kids. Pool was great. Outback next door was really good too. A lot of restaurants near by. Dennys good for bfast.

When I arrived the room service was cleaning the rooms 4 doors down. We checked in and was the first door and our room was clean and ready for check in. Once checked in and now resting this guy opened my door I told him go away and he opened my door again.. I layed in the bed for a second.. something told me to go to the door and the attendant was standing so close to my door you couldn’t see him out the peep hole‍♀️ but his cart was there so I opened the door and there he stood leaning on my door and scared me totally!!!! So I told the front desk where a ylady by the name of Melody proceeds to tell me I can leave and she repeated this over and over. I will NEVER pay for a stay like this again

Upon check-in, we were told that breakfast was included with our stay. We rearranged our schedule to eat breakfast at the hotel. Went down the next morning and was told by Barbara at the front desk that breakfast was not included and she was extremely rude about it. Didn’t even apologize to us for getting bad information when we checked in. She treated us like we were liars. extremely rude.. should’ve stayed at the Hilton next-door.

I asked for an early check-in and the hotel refused even though they had rooms available. No way the hotel did their best to accommodate me. The new manager is not guest friendly. She said the only way I could check in early was to pay for an additional day. This hotel is not up to Marriott standards. Nice hotel, but don't nickel and dime your customers. There are two other hotels right next door. Next time I will find out if the competition allows early check-in.

Great to work with for a organizing a group! The staff is a pleasure to work with - they are pleasant, polite and efficient. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to working with them in the future! Beautiful and clean facility as well!

We had our wedding after party at the late night bar in the lobby and had a blast. The staff had everything ready and set up for us and we’re very patient with our large (and rowdy) group. They made sure we were all taken care of and couldn’t have been more professional. Thank you to the staff and thank you to Kayla for helping us organize and plan it all!!

You know what you are getting with a Courtyard - the reason I'm writing a review is that all of the staff we interacted with were very friendly, which is just kind of nice after a long day of driving in traffic. At check in they gave us an unexpected snack bag and credits to use for food. It was no problem to get extra towels, and the woman working the breakfast area was cheerful too. The whole lobby/lounge looked a bit more inviting than in other Courtyards. The room was very clean. In the last year or so it seems Marriott (the regular/more expensive ones as well as Courtyard) has started using much cheaper/thinner towels. Thats not the fault of this Courtyard, but I'm mentioning it because they are getting so thin you can practically see through them :-).

I guess I didn’t read the fine print. I have never stayed at a Courtyard that didn’t offer complimentary breakfast. We were 4 people. Given 2 towels. Peeling wallpaper. Simply put - the room was worn down and outdated. As having status, I usually get an upgrade. We were given a room next to the elevator. We asked for more towels and there was hesitation as they were apparently out of clean towels. We wanted to spend time at the pool. There were no towels and you couldn’t even enter the pool as it was so crowded (it was super tiny). Not sure why a parent would allow certain behaviors - but that is not Marriott’s fault. I also am disappointed as I could have booked this hotel on ******* for over $100 less than what I booked on the Marriott app. I didn’t call in time for the price match. Otherwise, the staff seemed friendly but needs to be better prepared for a holiday weekend.

The bar/breakfast area at the Courtyard by Marriott Middletown Goshen is fantastic. We ate breakfast there and our cashier/server Zoila was terrific. Excellent customer service and she was attentive and just awesome. Thank you, Zoila!
