On arrival, we were greeted with a wonderfully warm welcome, setting a positive tone for our stay. ILona, the reception staff member who looked after us, went above and beyond to ensure we felt completely at home. Her attentiveness and promptness in addressing our requests for extra pillows and towels significantly enhanced our comfort. The breakfasts, served over two mornings, were generous in portion size, but unfortunately fell short in quality. Certain items appeared to have been overcooked to the point where the moisture was entirely extracted, leaving them dry and unappetizing. Specifically, the hash browns lacked the light and fluffy texture one would expect, while the sausages were unusually hard, seemingly drained of their natural juices. Elaine, who managed the food hall, was exceptionally attentive and very helpful. Her dedication to service was evident, and she made an effort to ensure visitors felt cared for and accommodated. The overarching takeaway from our visit is the need for the hotel to reassess its approach to food preparation, ensuring that items meet the expected standards of quality and freshness. Addressing this aspect would undoubtedly elevate the overall guest experience. While our stay had its highlights, particularly the stellar staff service, improvements in food quality would make this establishment truly exceptional.
